It looks like the broken bracket that attaches to the bellhousing and the exhaust pipe. Of my three MJs only the one with the AW4 has it, the other two were/are BA10/5 and AX-15.

But on the bright side, no oxygen = no oxidation = no rust.

Not my repair nor an emergency repair but, when I purchased my '88 the PO had used drip irrigation tubing for the vacuum harness including those push on connectors. I had an extra vac harness so as soon as I got it home it all got replaced, should have taken a pic.
