Well I've seen some crappy American build quality.
Thanks for all the input guys, I found some of those threads after the group buy was mentioned. Just wanted opinions after several years of use.
The military wraps are actually less expensive, maybe there's a special on them.
I was going to get a military wrap set but wanted to hear some feedback before I pull the trigger.
I was looking at General Springs for a set of leaf springs, they have the 1700 lb capacity 5(3/2) Item 97-571 for 249.99 each and also have the military wrap version item GSC-571 for $220.00 each with currently an 8 week lead time (custom built). Just thought someone may be interested.
Edit: Who is running the military wraps? Any comments? Thanks.
Good to hear it passed smog. For 275 tires you need 9.5" wheels, also need lift and proper back spacing to avoid rubbing.
Those wheels are relatively rare so don't just throw them away.
Interesting the '90 Freedom concept has the 10 slot grill. I like the fascia recessed fog lights on the silver one but would probably get crushed if 4x4.
The blue face was up to I believe '88 ('87???), the red was for anything past that. Cherokee and Comanche clusters were the same for respective production years.
The doors have been swapped out since it's a single piece of glass along with the door panels and those are not '90 seats. The dash and center console are period correct for a '90.
