  1. That's a lot of FLUKEs!
  2. You're ruining the surprise!
  3. VIN decoder http://comanchemj.1hwy.com/custom3.html
  4. If you place it in your watch list you'll probably get an offer for 5% off (~$108), better than a stick in the eye.
  5. Came across an on line site where you can draw schematics and save them, great way to document your mods. https://www.circuit-diagram.org/editor/
  6. The wiring is there in your truck. For your '88 look for a single red wire with a black(?) flat connector around the collant bottle. You will have to modify the light if it has the two wire connector. You could grab the harness portion from the yard and attach your red wire to it and ground the other wire if you don't want to cut the connector off the light.
  7. The wiring is different between '89 down and '90 up. For '89 down there is a single wire, the light grounds through the mounting bar. For '90 up there is a two wire connector.
  8. These are made to order and are claimed to fit. https://www.ebay.com/itm/202889582234 (picture is generic, not specific part for MJ/XJ)
  9. That is not a factory sport bar in the red MJ.
  10. 129728910106221976 until 4/5/2020
  11. Here are some threads with pics of the frame. https://comancheclub.com/topic/152-removed-the-bed/ https://comancheclub.com/topic/21066-long-bed-stuff/ https://comancheclub.com/topic/55204-bed-bolt-locations/?tab=comments#comment-564686 https://comancheclub.com/topic/15384-quick-bed-removal-problem/
  12. Raleigh–Durham, NC
  13. Here's a phone in one of the catalogs
  14. I think it would go great in one of Red Mistress's Jeeps
  15. Did you get the phone? That was a $1,400 option in '88 (if that's the actual one).
  16. I have three and the funny thing is my neighbor directly across the street also has one, we've been neighbors for 24 years! I've been meaning to post it's VIN since I don't think she's on here.
  17. My wife has a 2014 FJ Cruiser, there were fewer than 15,000 imported into the US that year, last US market year.
  18. It looks like fewer were made in the 90-92 model years. If our registry is an accurate snapshot of the relative number produced by year, peak production was '88 and '89.
  19. 41 minute mark who says our trucks aren't aerodynamic?
  20. So the wheels with rivets were hard to find even back then.
  21. I do like the race truck picture with the 10 hole +rivets rim on the front and without rivets on the rear.
  22. Wow, I didn't know "the bed (was) held down by two bolts." (sarcasm)
