  1. Here is my stock truck on 31X10.5's. Rubs at full lock on the control arms. That's about it.
  2. Hmm... I don't have before and after yet, but I do have before and during. (Since it's not done yet) Before: During: Not sure what it will look like after. Still a work in progress.
  3. This weekend, I put a new battery in the truck. I put the aftermarket lower control arms on it and took it in and got an alignment. After the new track bar and control arms and alignment, it is a whole lot more solid feeling. Here is a picture of the truck today. You can also see that the flares are all in place. Also got a steering wheel cover. Feels much better.
  4. Make sure you get one with the right tranny combo so you don't have to modify. The AW4 bracket is drilled slightly differently than the one for the AX15 for example.
  5. Both my kids are over 20. :ack:
  6. That's not cool! I had to buy my wife a shirt. She wore it all day yesterday. ;) I plan on getting the remainder of the shirts packed and shipped tonight. Cool. I haven't gotten mine yet so hope it's one of the ones you're shipping tonight.
  7. could be a multitude of stuff. Is the Catalytic Converter clogged? I had a car do that once. Throwing any codes? The more info, the better...
  8. Just make sure it's a 4 door. The 2 doors are longer.
  9. Well, minor coolant leak seems to have been very minor. As in loose hose clamp. :clapping: this winter: Need to get the interior finished up and the windshield replaced. Put the aftermarket lower control arms from the donor on as they are beefier. Front end alignment Replace the spare tire holder underneath (already have it) and put the spare back under the truck. Fix emergency brake. (replace cables, etc.) Remove engine from donor for storage and haul it off. Taking up too much room in the barn. Next spring/summer: New Battery Touch up some body things here and there. May paint it. Not spending a lot of money on it, just probably rattle can satin black. Replace mirrors. May try to straighten the rear bumper as its a bit bent up. (and of course, whatever quits working/breaks)
  10. Very cool idea.
  11. Everything worked would be first. (Almost there)
  12. Nope, but wondered the same thing...
  13. Revive old thread... I would have a TJ converted to a Brute pickup with a stroker, 4 inches of lift and 33s. Manual transmission. Without the high line fenders. I think they take away from the looks. Stock TJ lines. Bushwaker pocket style flares. Other odds and ends. Would be my DD. I'd also like a TJ unlimited (same lift and tire size) for the wifes daily driver.
  14. Here is one from earlier this year...
  15. Wheels in sig pic. Gamblers off a TJ. 31 BFG All Terrains from my old Ranger.
  16. Still no more pics as it looks the same. However, I got some fender flare brackets from a member and finally got the last fender flare on. Now it has all 4 on again! WooHoo... :clapping:
  17. +1 on radiator barn... Put one in the TJ a few years ago. Good prices and good quality.
  18. I've heard good things about the silverstars. However, if you're headlights are old, any new ones will brighten them up. I read an article somewhere that halogen headlights don't go out that often, but as they age, they lose some of their brightness. I replaced the ones in my wifes '97 TJ last year and it made a huge difference. I have also heard of folks redoing their headlights by running them straight off the battery via a relay. Haven't tried that myself though.
  19. doesn't sound like it. He said it kicks on when he turns on the key. Just doesn't sound like it's pumping much.
  20. I would say that the fuel pump is bad. You can disassemble and try to see if sock is blocked, but I would be ready to buy a pump. BTW... 4-8-15-16-23-42
  21. Yes, I talked with the printer this morning. He ordered the wrong sizes and quantities of the sport gray long sleeve and is waiting for the new garments to arrive. I express my dissatisfaction with the speediness I was quoted back in October. He indicated he is short staffed and very busy. Unfortunately I don't see these getting shipped before Christmas. This makes me sick and frustrated. I have the shipping lables and packages ready to go! I am pushing for him to be done at the end of the week. I sincerely apologize for the delay good folks of CC. But rest assured, I am pushing for the printer to get done! Whatever dude, I'm PO'd. Christmas present. Jeez. Just kidding. No Worries. Glad you are taking the time to get it done. They'll get here when they get here.
  22. Headliner, new seat, carpet, windshield and a new set of 31's.
  23. I'm pretty sure everyone that has ever had an accident while being distracted has thought the same as you. Good luck and I hope you don't kill anyone.
  24. I owned a 2003 FX4 level 2. Great Truck. I'd probably still have it but driving 65 miles a day so I traded it on a 35mpg Focus. Then got the ole Comanche to fill the truck need. I still miss my Ranger, though.
