  1. Sold the truck. Friend of the family bought it. New owner has been on this site, but I don't know if he is a member. I will suggest he become one if not.
  2. Selling the old mule! In the Classifieds !! Wish me luck...
  3. I am selling the old mule. It has been in the family since new. Check the classifieds. "The Family Truck" is the build thread and it was October 2016 COTM. I'll still drop in from time to time... Not signing off. Just not going to have an MJ. Learned a lot and hopefully helped a few folks along the way. I just bought my wife's old TJ back from who we sold it to for a really good deal and am gonna play with that for a few years. This is without a doubt the best forum for information and helpfulness I have ever run across... And I have been on a bunch for bikes, cars, jeeps, etc. Thanks to all !
  4. Not big at all. Pretty close to the stock rubber pieces. Other than the brackets, it was like it was made for it. It does not fit with the comanche hitch bar though. I have to modify that to fit. It hits the receiver so I'll have to lower the hitch just a bit. Should be an easy fix whenever I get around to it.
  5. Yep, the Dakota seats were one of the best things I did to my truck. They sit a little high, but they are great.
  6. IT is a rubber foam mat I bought and just cut and glued it on with contact cement. It does not like to stick to the roof when the weather gets real hot, though. Not falling off, but bubbles. I plan on redoing it to insulate it from the bare metal roof sometime this year.
  7. bought a 2010 focus new. Put 135K on it. Nothing but tires and oil. Sold it to my daughter. She is driving it now. Got 30-35mpg and was a 5sp. Mine was a 2 dr SES. More rare, but a bit more sporty. They are not sports cars, but are decent to drive.
  8. I doubt if I will be able to buy the $40K new Jeep truck no matter what it looks like. I would need it to be able to pull at least 6000 lbs for me anyway. Doubt it will. Probably more like the 5K or less of the comanche.
  9. Yep. Cheapo 2" Lift with 31's on the old mule. The 31's fit stock, but look much better with the 2".
  10. Congrats! Keep up the good work.
  11. Beats me. I can't weld either... :shake: I just got a welder and started to melt stuff together.
  12. +1
  13. It is a foam rubber anti fatigue mat.
  14. They are. Huge upgrade over stock. Especially when stock are worn out. They sit higher due to my brackets i made. But i love them.
  15. I may have one. Ill check the cabinets.
  16. Good choice. I have them on the MJ. Love 'em. We had a set on the wifes TJ. She said best tires ever on it. Especially in the h2o. She drove.that TJ 200k miles over 17 years.
  17. Get in and have someone hit it with a hose in various areas until you track it down.

  20. June for me will be 10 years.
  21. Thanks for that!
  22. Mothers with a polishing wheel for the drill works real well.
  23. It wraps around about the same as the stocker.
  24. My original bumper was toast. Picket up a 1st gen Dakota bumper at the yard. Rangers and S10's are 5 inches narrower. Old Bumper. Dakota bracket welded to Comanche bracket. Welded brackets mounted inside of bumper. Coat of satin black to help with rust prevention. Done!
