Project "Eliminator"
beaterjeep replied to 89eliminator's topic in MJ Hardcore Tech: Epic Journeys to Greatness
Wade, the MJ is looking better and better everyday I look at it. Can't wait to see it in person. jt, I wish the grass around here was that green too; that would mean summer is here, and projects would be moving forwards. -
Dang man, you work fast. Guess I shoulda known that one though from firsthand experience. :D Glad you're getting things back together in the comforts of home.

Verry slow progress but oh well, here she is....

AFAIK, Pete doesn't have any kids; unless there's something he's never told us before. ;) I think you're thinking of opsled and his son Jeepco. Both of them are good people to know. Not that Pete isn't good people to know :D , but you all know what I mean. EDIT: BTW, I've seen your MJ on that "cars and domains" site as well, very nice rig. -
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MJEFF87!!!     EDIT: and to BLHTAZ too, don't wanna leave him out of the main post. :brows:

Hey, just thought it was worth a try anyways. I'm the same way; I'll offer everything I have, but rarely accept help. I also have to thank you though for what you've done for rescue dogs, that in itself shows your character. 8)

GOOD NEWS!: He's been picked up, loaded up, and on his way home. Just got off the phone with him and he is about half hour out from Geonovast's house right now to pick up a few things he needs to rebuild and build a couple trannys. After that, he will be on his way home, and starting the rebuild/build process. I myself would like to thank all of you for your support and stories, they helped put my mind at ease through all this. I'm sure jeepco will be appreciative as well. 8)

CW, don't take any offense to this one, but yours is one of the main ones I was wondering about. Now I know (as does everyone else :D ) and it makes perfect sense too.

Well, as most of you know from my project pages on here, Jeepco was gonna be at my place today to help with wiring on Baby. BAD NEWS!: An hour or so away from my place his tranny grenaded, and now he's stuck spending the night in a rest stop just off of the interstate for the night. He does however have a truck and trailer coming for him in the morning, but that's a long ways off. He does have his laptop and cell phone with him, so he's contactable at least. We have been exchanging phone calls all day long so far, trying to find him a way back home. I came up empty handed at all attempts. I even went so far as to call a couple "friends" that I haven't talked to in roughly 5 years, to see if they could help. I do have to thank Jeepco and Geonovast (both of them are excellent people and great friends to have) for trying to set me straight as I feel partially responsible for this happening so far from his home. It was bound to happen, but now because Jeepco is such a great friend and willing to help me out, he's stranded more than 3 ½ hours from home. I don't know what much else to say in here other than he's gonna be needing a new tranny in the 3800, but the good news is that he's safe; a bit upset and down in the dumps that he couldn't help me out, and that the tranny went out again, but at least it wasn't worse.

Erik, let me know if you'd like me to send ya any more $$ for that console, I'd gladly do it to help ya out. Sorry to hear about the loss, it's never easy to deal with.
-
You met your wife in 1811? How old are you, like 300? :D Don't mind me, I have a lot running through my head right now, and am a lil  .
-
Alright smart@$$, I'll admit there are some names on here that are obvious. Ya got me on that one Wade, 1,000 bonus points to you.
-
I'll direct him to this thread next time I talk to him and let him know he needs to stop in and say hello again, as there's people starting to worry about him.
-
As I look around, I see people using screen names that don't have an explanation behind them. So, let's hear why you chose your name, and what it stands for. Mine is beaterjeep because at the time I signed up, that's essentially what I considered Baby; a street beater that happened to be a jeep. I just put the two together on a whim, and been using it on multiple boards since then. YOUR TURN!

His is a papermill and carpentry on the side, so I'm sure he understands heat as well. Albeit it may not be quite as hot as in the sandbox. Any other questions, feel free to post them, I'm usually in contact with him once a day or so.

He's on cardomain somewhere. I've seen it there before in the past, it's actually a really nicely done up rig. EDIT: Here's the link to his page.
-
Correct and not. He does still get on 4x4 country every chance he gets, but he's also been swamped working 2 jobs for about 75-80 hours a week.
-
LMAO... nice one. MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE... oh damn, wrong holiday. Happy worst ever holiday for a diabetic to you all.

PM replied to.

I'll give it a try early next week with the MJ15 and report back on if it works or not.
-
Well, IF I had to sell, I'd let Baby go for about $1,750 and I'd let the MJ15 go for about $1,250 as it sits with the 2.hate, and after the 4.uh oh swap, I'd prolly let it go for about $2,000.
-
Cool, I'll be expecting good news shortly then.
-
We should all hope I can avoid it. With my medical problems, if I ever got the flu, you all more than likely wouldn't ever hear from me again. Hope ya get better soon man. We need new updates on that killer rig you're working on building. :D
