I know that feeling all too well. I think I need more help than you though. In real life and the game.

So what does the Mrs. Think of ur MJ, and MJ addiction?
beaterjeep replied to sinnaevd's topic in The Pub
I'm not too sure how mine likes the MJ's yet. I do know that she wants me to take her offroading in the 86 when it's done, so I guess she likes them. -
I may be wrong yet again, but it sounds like he's wondering how to index the dizzy.

cold air intake pics?
beaterjeep replied to undercoverwalrus's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have an idea as well, but I'm keeping that one a secret in case it fails miserably. I will say this one though, thankfully I have an extra header panel to test it out on. :brows: -
I have to agree wholeheartedly with you on this one Pat. Everything from the radiator support back is all unibody; uni meaning one, and body, well that refers to everything from the back of the cab forwards. One body cannot exist at 100% integrity with THE main supports missing, as you have with the top missing. In all honesty, I myself wouldn't even risk sitting in it in the yard for fear of it folding up like a taco on me. undercoverwalrus, please for safety sake add some metal INSIDE the cab (or lack thereof) somewhat resembling a roof, so that you can get at least some structural integrity back into it. Josh, sorry to divert your build thread, looks good though.

Looks like you like how your old X looks now, huh? ;) Just wait till this summer, I'll be able to provide a pic just for this thread. Too bad it more than likely won't still be going by then.

How about the best of both worlds? A Jeep and a sled racing across water? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOTDOrkFcGc

As long as you stay on the throttle, and keep the nose pointed up, yep, they do. I can't remember where it is here in WI, but every summer they have snowmobile drag races across a lake.

Timing is of the essence in this world, eh? Just as I'm in the middle of typing, you finish the progress post. Guess it's time to look at the pics and edit this one, huh? EDIT: I HATE YOU! Nah, just joking man, looks a lot better than it did. Now, get it finished so I can waste another post on this thread.

So, the day is almost done now Pat, where's them updates?

How'd you like to be the guy driving the car in this one? Just imagine the embarrassment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UtbioUR60N4

That'd be funny as he!!. :D

HOLY $#!+ !! You were busy today weren't you? Did you even stop to take time to use the bathroom, or eat? Looks good though.
-
Just out of curiosity here. There's only one of you, correct? But yet both of your Jeeps are at work, correct? Did you walk home from work yesterday and decide it was too cold to walk back in today, so ya drove the other one to work? Don't mind me, I'm a lil  They do look nicely together though.

Pat, don't worry, I woulda laid into the guy as well. And I don't even own nor ride sleds during the winter. I hate winter, but know well enough that there are others who absolutely love it, just for the sledding. I also agree that single purpose trails should be just that, SINGLE PURPOSE. Just because you think that you're king $#!+ of turd island, doesn't give you the right to mess things up for other people by invading and destroying something that is clearly labeled as THEIRS, not YOUR'S, or SHARED. :headpop: :headpop: :headpop: SOME PEOPLE'S KIDS THESE DAYS!!

I think considering that your truck has a cargo lamp, there will be a lot of people here hating on you. Nice buy though, looks good.

Wow man, you'd better hope the wrong person doesn't get ahold of that pic. It could be used as blackmail someday.

I have no clue about the laws over there, but IIRC comanche-man22 just recently acquired his license, which would make them probationary. I know that here in Wisconsin anyways, it's a period of time that you can only drive during certain hours of the day, and can't have anyone in the vehicle except for a parent. Like I said, the laws may be different out there, but it's very similar here as well.

Well, time for me to kinda hijack this thread as well. Twisty, do you happen to have any other pics or dimensions and such of your rear bumper setup? I'm thinking about stealing your ideas on it, and incorporating a few ideas of my own for my 86.

That one, I didn't know, so I cheated and googled it. I won't reveal the answer since I did cheat, but I do have to correct you on the lyrics a bit. It goes, your stallion stands in need of company, not sits. ;) From the rest of the lyrics, it seems like it'd be another good one.

Rockhound, I'm the same age as you are and I knew the answer to that one as well. Even though I haven't heard it in a coon's age.

While this project is deemed "Project X", and I have a tendency to call it "Old Man", it has finally been given it's official name. Pe Pe. I'm naming it that because of not only the color scheme on it right now, but because the 4.uh oh will be painted silver with black accessories, bellhousing, and tcase. The AW4 will be simply cleaned and semi-polished to appear silverish. The interior will also be carrying on the black and silver theme, as the dash, steering column, seats, and center console will be gray, while the trim pieces and headliner will be black. Pe Pe just seems to fit it all too well, with not only the color scheme, but also because the 4.uh oh/AW4 will be "peppy"er than the 2.8 that's currently in there. So, with all that black and silver, it makes it appear to be wearing a tuxedo (especially with the hood stripe (another reason it's now named Pe Pe)). Yea, I know, maybe I'm a lil  or had one too many  , but I think it's a fitting name for it.

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=640408 Can ya just imagine that thing on the streets. I can see it now, just imagine getting hit with one of them and telling your friends about it... "man, you're never gonna believe this one, I got my @$$ handed to me by a pink tampon"
-
Oh yea, that it is. I'm the same way, can't remember what I did yesterday, but can remember thinking I was a stuntman on my bike when I was 5 years old trying to stand on the seat with no hands and falling flat on my face. Oh, I'm also the same way with songs, if I hear them more than once, I can pretty much remember them.

:D Back in my younger years (not that long ago mind you) I used to listen to convoy on many a road trips, and sometimes still do. Also listen to Wolf Creek Pass quite a bit.
