  1. That's an odd one there Rick, and I agree jeepaholic's 12" lifted truck is quite BA.
  2. I was doing my usual strolling over on NAXJA and came across This thread and my first thought was all the talk that was on here a while back about doing it. Now it has been done.
  3. Not to hijack or nothing, but 1999MJ, I know this is a MJ site, but how's the J truck coming along?
  4. 5 ton rockwells, or the "jackstands"? I actually went through and read the whole thread, and it turned out pretty decently.
  5. It's definitely no MJ, but I still like it.
  6. Thanks for letting me know about that. It has now been fixed to a working page.
  7. Um, yea, that don't look too good there. Good thing you had a replacement on hand.
  8. Well, ya got the ghey part of Green ghey right. Now you're only about a 5 hour drive away from me.
  9. I just seen this online. Rally driver Colin McRae dies in helicopter crash
  10. I'd say just measure from where the cable starts at the lever back to where it meets up by the axle. Then take that measurement and find another vehicle that uses that same length e brake cable, and use that.
  11. Paging Dr. Pingpong.... Paging Dr. Pingpong, we have another truggy about to happen. All joking aside, I'd say go for it man.
  12. Congrats Rick. I knew you'd get the varmint back, which is why I "fixed" that one post of your's.
  13. How involved was the swap from the foot operated E-brake over to the hand E-brake? Sounds like some good progress there.
  14. Holy crap. I want one.

Same here. Almost exactly the same.
  16. So I've been told. Thanks man, no matter what you say, I owe you.
  17. On the truck with the $40,000 + window sticker. Then that's a good enough reason for me.
  18. Looks good. Are them turbines on it?
  19. I was thinking the same thing... Make that 3 of us.
  20. Wow man, sounds like ya got some BIG plans in store for the old MJ.
  21. Whoo hoo, someone closer than 5 hours away from me.
  22. Yep, on my way back into town, I seen a nice red manche on a side street, so I came home, grabbed my camera and a magnet (business cards are in my wallet full time), and headed out. It looks like it is a cheif, but has been repainted on the lower half. It's a red SWB with a factory rollbar in it. Got a few pics of it, and left a card and a magnet on the wiper. Now if only I could find my camera cord, I could upload the pics of it. EDIT: Found my cord. Here's the pics of it.
  23. That sucks man, hope ya get it going soon.
  24. I think the difference is in the front suspension. Don't quote me on this though, I think the YJ has independent front suspension, while the TJ is a solid front axle.
