  1. How are you planning on doing that? You either need to build your own fluid replacer or take it in. Dropping the pan only gets about 1/3 of the fluid.
  2. What does the fluid look like - pink or semi burned? If you were loading it up sometimes the fluid will start puking out the breather or around the TC seal, especially if you are having to give it so much gas to maintain speed that the TC is not locking up at highway speeds.
  3. It is? I didn't change the crossmember when I swapped from AX15 to AW4 in my kids truck. All the bolt holes were in the right places.
  4. I don't know if I'd do the whole truck. We Herculined the bottom 1/3 of my kids truck. Looks pretty decent and it was an easy way to cover up the corner replacements without doing a ton of body work. Still need to do the fenders once I get the new/non cutup ones painted
  5. Had a new 4 piece put into the kids truck after someone smashed it. $400
  6. I use a metric adjustable wrench ;)
  7. It's a full time case, if you buy a part time kit for it, it's pretty decent. Unlike a 205, it is a chain drive case - but a beefy one.
  8. TH350 and an NP203. NP205 has a 3rd small cover on the back where the idler shaft comes out.
  9. Stock setup is a steel sleeve in the crank with a roller bearing inside of that. 2 different pieces. As far as the bushing - tapered side in to the crank for 2 reasons. 1 - the crank doesn't have a square shouldered hole in it. 2) It makes it easier to revove - gives the grease a place to go and press when you pound in a dowel to force it out.
  10. Most 87 MJ with auto would have had a 904 in it, not an AW4. I've got an AW4 in my YJ behind a 2.5L, doesn't really suck that much power. Be aware that the 2.5L used a different TCU also, the shift points are higher. Using a 4.0L TCU with a 2.5L would really make it dog as the engine would never get up into it's power band. I've still got an extra 2.5L TCU if you wind up needing one. My aw4 is full manual so I don't run a tcu.
  11. It's staying on, but they are still available new http://www.suvxccessory.com/luns-19030.html
  12. And as done as it's going to get today. We got a set of uncut front fenders and flares from the u-pull which will be done as time allows, and he's talking about doing some art work on the bed sides.
  13. On to the other side which has just a little rust through on the cab corner.
  14. Looking better - if you stand a few feet away ;) The paint on the bed will almost certainly start rusting off again soon.
  15. Need to get some spot putty to cover up my lack of skill with the bondo, looks good in a picture or from 5 feet away ;)
