  1. Now I feel left out; I don't have a CB to keep in contact with anyone out on the trails.
  2. I know I'm late on this one, but HFB man.
  3. Well, hopefully I'll have them installed in early May. All depends on if me and Jeepco have time to fab up the mounts for them.
  4. Got my seats today. Thank you again man. For anyone here that hasn't done business with him, if you get the chance to, DO IT! He's a great guy and was very understanding with my money situation. Here's to you man, you deserve it.
  5. I only read up to #5 before I jumped to this reply. D@mn this attention deficit dis... SQUIRREL!! Ah, crap, what was I saying again?
  6. [Homer voice] MMMM.... mud [/Homer voice]
  7. Maybe I'd better duck and run for cover then. I actually like that blue Chevy, just drop it about 3" all around, and it'd be perfect. The XJ looks real good too, aside from missing the DS front center cap. Now, that Olds, or Caddy or whatever it is... that thing and it's owner need to be dragged into the street for a good ol' fashioned beat down.
  8. I don't know why, but for some reason I just love this pic. If only the rear tires were drag slicks, and you had a nice powerplant under the hood with a blower sticking out, it'd be perfect. Anyways, looks great all finished (for now, as we all know a Jeep is never completed).
  9. The passenger side will work without any problems; however, because of the fact that the XJ's e-brake is hand operated and the MJ's e-brake is foot operated, I'd suspect that the speaker would be a hindrance if you use or plan to use the e-brake. Excellent find though, I've been looking for something like this.
  10. Yep, I know the feeling. Took a couple tramadol and an ibuprofen for my knee, and now I can't sleep either. Hope all goes good for ya Tim; I'm willing to help ya build the MJ as well.
  11. How many times do I have to say it in this thread? Looks good man, keep up the good work. If you could, I'd buy ya a few of these   , but there's still time yet to get them to ya. When we gonna get pics of what's to come? :brows: You know what I mean. :D
  12. I think Pete said it best so far. How did you find this out though? I'm curious to read/see this myself.
  13. You may be right, but it was titled as an '84, so that's what I've based it off of. I just wish I didn't lose all but them pics, I had a lot more of under the hood, and the interior as well. The last I knew, the guy I sold it to lives over in St. Cloud, Minnesota. Yours looks killer man, almost a twin to my old one. That Rampage is sweetness too.
  14. The way I'm reading it is that Pat is buying it from a guy that never registered it, therefore the title is NOT in his name, but still in the PO's name. Then when selling it to Pat, he signed the title with his name in the seller's spot. Now, being that the registered name on the title doesn't match up with the name on the signature, therein lies the problem; the names not matching up.
  15. Yea, I had no choice but to drive home. That was a blast too, half hopped up on some sorta pain pill, and a leg I can't use. Good thing for the snow, I was able to slip the clutch (burnt it too, I could smell it frying) to get going, and then just power shift. Thanks to all for your well wishes, and stories. Glad to know I'm not the only one that's had knee problems since HS. In fact, CW, me and you aren't too different in that aspect. Mine was that I was running the ball, just got my left foot planted and the LB came in from my right side and caught me in the left knee. My kneecap has been almost an inch to the side since then.
  16. You're fully correct, I completely forgot about the mid 80's Scamps. I seen the Scamp name and immediately thought back to the 70's. D@mn these pain meds anyways, making me not think clearly. Tim, that's quite an impressive collection you had there. I'd love to have any one of them, especially the Lil Red Express truck; or better yet, it's evil twin, the Warlock.
  17. My MJ15 doesn't have any carpeting in it (bare metal floors) and even with the dual exhaust, I don't feel any heat coming up off of it. I think Dynamat would be a good choice to keep the heat out; albeit it's a lil pricey IMO.
  18. Scamp? Are you sure on that one, or were/are you thinking of the Rampage? If the Rampage, oh yea, them are some sexy lil trucks. Yea, I fully regret selling it, but at the time it was either sell the car, or live in it. I had put everything I had into that lil car. Full ground up resto using factory dealership parts; over $3,000 into just parts alone, and another $1,500 to have it repainted in the factory color/paint scheme.
  19. They call me.... tater salad. :D Wait, was that with or without mustard mixed in?
  20. Anyone else interested? We should start a list in the first post with the names of people that are planning on attending, that way we have a general idea of how many are going to make it.
  21. Congrats man. But, you are aware of the old adage "only fools get married on April fools" right?
  22. Well, I'm laid up for a few days again. Went to go play around in the new snow today, and slipped on some ice. Ended up blowing my left knee out in the process. Lemme tell ya, it's not easy driving a 5 speed with only your right leg, but somehow I managed to do it. Got to the E.R., nurse looked at my knee and left the room, about a minute later she came back in, gave me a pain pill and said I would be needing it. Come to find out my lower knee joint (or however you wanna look at it) was off to the left of my upper leg, and moved up a couple inches. The doc came in, and told me "this is gonna hurt", he grabbed my lower leg, and while pulling towards my foot, pushed my knee back into place. They kept me for a couple hours to watch the swelling, and released me. I'm supposed to stay off of it for a few days, and keep it iced (odd coincidence that ice is what caused it in the first place). How did everyone else's day go?
  23. Yessir, that it was. 2.2 turbo, factory 5 lug to boot.
  24. I think I wanna know where you got them boxes, and how you got them to stay upright. And what all the system consists of. :D OH, the maglite mount looks good too, nice idea.
  25. Money and parts to make the ideas in my head a reality. Oh, and an '87 SWB MJ so that I can make even more ideas in my head into reality. I guess that would mean I'd need a new place to live so that I can store them all too.
