  1. LOL, the back story I got when I bought it is that it's originally a Cali truck, then went to Jersey, then to Ohio, and now WI for the past 2 years. It still sits pretty tall though, so..... who knows.
  2. SONUVA... does this mean I have what I think I have then? Take a look yourselves.
  3. I'm still a FO SHO GO. Might even be able to pull out a surprise too. :brows:
  4. BMJ, the Thundercheif was a concept truck, the Street Comanches were actually made to the tune of 100 of them total. The distinguishing features were that it sat lower than a stock 2wd, the dash plaque, IIRC a special door tag as well, they also came from the dealer with Centerline rims, and the body kit. Here's just a couple examples I've saved pics of.
  5. The MJ15 back in the day. Baby after being lowered.
  6. I just need to... well, nothing really, cuz it's looking like the MJ15 won't have his maiden voyage this year. Unless some kinda miracle happens, I'll be a passenger somewhere, maybe.
  7. I gotta go with C.W. McCall and say "the 6th of June". :D
  8. G.I. JOE Wow, how fitting that I'm the one that gets to finish that one off.
  9. This may sound crazy to a lot of you, but I do it quite a bit with my model cars. RUBBING ALCOHOL will remove the paint, and restore them emblems back to before they were painted. Either let them soak for a couple minutes in a bath of it, and then rub away the paint that hasn't been disintegrated, or if you don't feel like taking the lazy way, there is always the method of just putting the rubbing alcohol on an old shop rag or something you don't mind getting wrecked, and well, rub it away.
  10. You do know what they say about mopeds, right? They're like fat women; fun to ride, until your friends find out.
  11. Or, just "borrow" Wade's while he's either sleeping or at work. :D Nah, can't do that. Pat, as much as I know ya wanna get the 3800 lifted, I'd have to give another vote to waiting to do it once, and do it right. Leave the multiple liftings to the people that would have to save their money for years on end to get the right height. :chillin:
  12. The MJ15 has 116xxx on it, and Baby is just over 170xxx on her. Just don't bring up MPG though.
  13. Just to help this along, the ZJ rear coils that I used to LOWER my '88 by 2" were 14" tall uncompressed, out of the truck. It's all about spring rates here.
  14. Yep, I just need to find another bike that I can actually ride without worrying about depreciating the value of it. Right now I have a 25th Anniversary Mongoose Sniper freestyle bike. Bought it brand new in '99 as a graduation present to myself for just under $300. Come to find out that it's one of only 300 made in lime green, and the last one I had seen sell on evil bay a couple years ago went for over 5 grand  , and it wasn't in as good of shape as mine is. Here's the pics of it just for fun.
  15. Whoo hoo, she's lower in the front now. The height difference between the ZJ rears and the stock MJ fronts. The end result. All in all, it rides a bit stiffer now, which I LOVE, and my MPG has gone up as well. The front went down all told, a whole 2" and looks DAYUM good. Thanks to Jeepco, 89eliminator, Geonovast, and all the other WI4x4 guys that helped me out on this one, without them it woulda never gotten done.
  16. Jeepco's flex ability HHMM... Wonder who owns these two beautiful red ones. Full album here:
  17. "Funny, I don't remember that corner." "I'm gonna need a car to run blocker; a speedy car; speedier." "Would a cop sitting on the side of the road taking a leak interest you?" "He's taking a 10-100." "Well, better than a 10-200." "I'm going, I'm going, I got the metal to the pedal and the thingy to the floor" "Snowman, what's your 20?" "Oh, about mile marker 75." "Well son of a gun, so am I." "I can't lie to you sheriff, you're too good a man. Take a look over your right shoulder. We're headed up to Boston for some clam chowder; HOW BOUT IT?"
  18. You're telling me, I was in a major depression the last week I was in there; was worried if I'd make it out in time for my trip down to Jeepco's place. A huge thank you to all who responded, and to everyone else on this site, it really does feel like a big family in here.
  19. Congrats, time to break out a good bottle of  and tip it back. I just hope that the silver WRX is the new one and not the blue one.
  20. Correction: See you Thursday evening/night. :D
  21. Yep, I'm finally back home, and man does it feel good to be back. No more stresses, my blood pressure can go back down to normal again, and I can actually get some good sleep. I still have my IV line in and administering meds twice a day through it, but at least I'm home.
  22. Sweet, I actually like it, just change the pink/purple/whatever it is to blue and I'll buy it right now. :D Oh, it would also need to be lowered a few inches though. And to complete the hijack, lol, things are doing so so, I'm in the "gotta get worse before ya can get better" stage right now.
  23. I'm in the same boat as MiNi Beast; no branch will take me. If I could though, I'd already have been/still be in the Marines.
  24. Sure, post the link to something I can't see from here why don't ya? With the way everyone's talking about it, it almost sounds like a couple of my ideas have already been implemented. Could someone PLEASE, PLEASE post the pics on here so I can see it too? :redX:
