  1. IIRC 3" axle tube on 8.25 axles. I always went to the front end and spring shop back home, they bent them for me right on the spot, cheaper than the ones you buy at dealerships/parts houses...
  2. Yah, that one looks good! I like it much better with the mirror on.
  3. Pics look great Rob. Enjoy!
  4. Have fun for me. Going to be back home working on the Willy's pickup project with my Dad and Brother through Tuesday. Its going to be nice to be back home.
  5. Good to see things are taking off!
  6. Be easier if you say dates that you would like to do this and then I can try and make it. My summer plans are changing everyday.
  7. Welcome!
  8. Yah, They make aftermarket replacement lock cylinders. I just bought one from: http://www.rockauto.com/catalog/x,carco ... type,10041
  9. Take out the dash: Out with the old: In with the new: The old heater core was toasted. I could hardly blow any air through it compared to the new heater core. The old foam seal around the toasted heater core was melted to it, somewhere along the line it got way HOTT. I haven't plumbed the new one in yet (I was running a coolant bypass to keep the truck on the road prior to installing this new box), should be hooking it up this week though. Dash is mostly together again, enough to move the truck around the driveway. Taking my time cleaning everything up before I put it back together...
  10. Oh Jake. :shake: My advice, get yourself one of these and USE IT, it seems that right now she's got one and is using it on you... - OR - Make her do the work if thats what she wants. You'll see, that'll stop all of this honey-do crap from happening right off the bat.
  11. Lucky.
  12. If you pitch those hubcaps that are on the rear, it will look 10 times better good snag! :rotfl2:
  13. What's that other thing in the pic next to the MJ? Also, when will you be getting a real antenna for this thing? I've got one I can give you, but your gonna have to sing the Theme for Sesame Street for it in front of all the other guys at the next meet and greet. :dunce:

  15. i am just using the remainding piece on the light i already cut.....easy  OK. Just please tell me why.
  16. Where in Michigan did you get that truck from?
  17. :ack: No Thanks Boss, Are you so hard up for a good pair of MJ lights that you have to do this, what is your reasoning? Also, please don't hack up another MJ light so you can do this to the other side... there are plenty other tail-lights out there to hack up.
  18. More importantly... does the rental house.. have a rental garage??? ...Nope. Got lots more space inside though and I'll be needing that for when the G/F finishes school up back in MI and moves over here in August. I've got access to a garage though if I need it, Landlord has a full off shop here on the property that I can use if I need to. I just don't like to push my luck if I can make it by without needing it, you know what I mean... Joe, you gotta get that Jeep legal!
  19. The entire dash and heater box came out of the '90 last weekend and I'll be putting it back in this weekend. Anyone that wants to swing up/over is more than welcome to come and stupervise the process. I'll also be moving most of my Jeep junk next door to my future rental house, I've got all month to move the stuff I have so this probably won't be that big on the priority list. Just thought I would throw this out there if anyone needs something to do this weekend...
  20. Have fun for me. All those years in MI and I never made it there. Driven by that place must be a 100 times or more on I-75...
  21. ...rethinking my stance on Jeep redoing the Comanche...
  22. So I've thought about this and I've come up with my verdict. Put me down for two of them and if its possible, try and ship them together? I'll trust you to grab some nice ones. I've got good guts in the ones I have so I'm more interested in getting straight gates that won't need much, if any, bodywork. Non-bent ones are always preferred. I think I'll have you send them to my work to keep the shipping costs down, PMed you the address. Let me know how you would like the payment to come, I can shoot you a check (for whatever amount it works out to be) ASAP. Thanks Again for doing this!
  23. Now that you have a '92, you'll forever be asking that question about other '92's Yay for free entertainment :rotfl2:
  24. That tailgate handle alone is worth $250 to me! :dunno:
