  1. I'm planning on going to this again, probably on Saturday. If nothing else, its a great place to get cheap Craftsman tools... :) http://www.madisonclassics.com/car-show ... ferson.php :wavey:
  2. No - let everything be. Everything is legit and legal, if we wanted it bad enough, why didn't we snatch it up quick?

  4. I only got pics of the Willy's stuff for my Dad. Nothing special. I would have taken more, but I ran out of memory.
  5. My score at the AMC place consisted of $25 in parts: '84 XJ Tilt Steering Column that looks like it was never used '86 MJ Tail-light harness A couple 7 pc. front end headlight bezels An old AMC Ignition lock Cylinder 4.0L Tailgate badge I picked up a pair of gray MJ Buckets from Pete for $100 to replace the 4 dr XJ ones I currently have been running for 2 years, now I can put stuff behind my seat!!! :clapping: And I also got a pair of the old style Comanche fender badges in the mail when I got home from pitbull4x4 for $10 shipped. Not a bad day.
  6. Don't worry about anything like that happening. Trust me, it's going to a GOOD home.
  7. What a day! You guys missed out, everything that could possibly happen, happened today. Truck issues - both mine and 89eliminator's - I made it back fine, hopefully he did too Lots of buying parts Lots of swapping parts Great old AMC and Jeep stuff to drool over at the parts place and at World's Fastest Comanche's place Chow Fest CC style at a local restaurant Chilling and chatting at automan's Great Day. Lots of pics were taken, I'll let those guys post them up as I didn't take any all day worthy of posting.
  8. Out the door, see you guys in a bit. I'll be watching the sun rise on the drive down 8)
  9. I saw that coming a mile away.
  10. I've got a spare set too. I'll throw them in the truck and bring them along.
  11. FYI - Currently I don't have internet at home, everything I do is at work. If anything changes, someone will need to give me a buzz. Currently I'm planning on getting to Rob's place around 8-8:30 am. Pat - I'm bringing your gears cause I don't want to store them for you anymore, they are getting in my way. Wade - Do you still have that drop pitman arm? Please bring it if you do - $30 was what you were asking? - Brent
  12. Pete, didn't you see this one first hand at the Walter P. Chrysler museum?
  13. I read the whole story, loved it!
  14. Let me know when/where.
  15. I'm sure there will be plenty of cameras in attendance.
  16. That is cool.
  17. drama in the Great Lakes Chapter...
  18. Worse than Pat. :shake: Rob L. :D Agreed. So you planning on selling that AX-15 with all the external slave parts...? :brows: keep me in mind if you are. I NEED that complete setup, I've got two transmissions that are waiting for it.
  19. Pete, FWIW - Driving south around Chicago has always served me well by avoiding traffic and helped me avoid as many tolls as possible compared to bringing I-90 or I-94 THROUGH Chicago. Coming from Kalamazoo I take I-94 south and then merge onto I-80 to come west. I then take I-80 west (towards Iowa) to I-39 and bring that north to the Rockford area (which is farther west of where Rob lives in Harvard...) I think this route will treat you well though, especially if you want to avoid Chicago traffic. You will have to pay two tolls this way, one east of Chicago right after you enter Illinois and another when you get off of I-39 to head back east to Robs. I believe they will both be 60 cents, make sure you can make exact change. Lots of cool things to see on this route as well... It'll be nice to finally meet you in person. - Brent
  20. Whatever we end up doing is fine with me. I'm game for whatever, just wondering what I should plan on bringing along with me so I'm prepared. If we go to the yard I (like you guys) could easily spend half a day there and not blink an eye. If we don't make it thats fine, I can always go on my own and I'd like to see this guy's place more than anything. All my power tools are corded, if you guys need me to bring anything special just let me know. So far I'm just planning on bringing a toolbox full of the general 'yarding tools, Pat's 3.55 gears, and a wad of $$$$.
  21. Who is the executor..."she"???? Why can't we start earlier? I'm going to be up for a few hours before I leave the house for your place even if we start at 9... :dunce: So the general plan for the day is to go to LKQ first, then the guy's AMC treasure trove and then come back to your place to hack up the rolled MJ?
  22. I thought that one was a lost cause... :dunno:
  23. I'd be VERY interested in the rims/tires...
