The oil leak could be the front of the pan gasket, the timing cover gasket, or the seal in the timing cover that the crank snout goes through.

Looking good. Must've degreased them very well after using the PB Blaster
-
I would've done the same. If I'm the one paying for it, I want to look at the nice side.

Driving on the street to street truck

Heck yeah! -
Wow, that is impressively stupid. The front differential mount in my Eagle is a stupid design too. It mounts to the engine using the same bolts as the motor mounts, but uses different brackets. On the driver side of the differential, there are two bolts that go vertically into the pumpkin. The exhaust is completely in the way to see or get a wrench on these bolts easily. The nuts for the seats are also a pain. The seat brackets have studs that go through the floor. That isn’t necessarily a bad idea until the threads get rusty. And the nut for the driver seat is above the transfer case. Plus the inner tie rods and lower ball joints are Eagle specific, so those are fun to source.

That’s a great deal for you guys!

Just because they came with it doesn’t mean that they should have it (or should’ve had it from the factory)

Doing great work. I love seeing rust getting fixed properly.

Not sure, but I’ve never covered electrical stuff and been fine. I just try to keep the pressure washer from hitting most of the connectors directly.

I use oil eater for my engine degreaser. Works better than anything else I’ve ever used and is better for the planet than lots of other ones. I’ve used this stuff and a pressure washer in my engine compartment several times with no issues. The only thing I had to soak multiple times with this stuff was my tractor because the grease and dirt was hardened and an inch thick in places.

Project “Tomahawk”

Everything I've heard about those Notch flares seems to agree with your statement that they take a ton of work to fit right. I feel like for a piece as expensive as they are, they shouldn't require much, if any, work to get them to fit. That said, they sure do look great. I wish I would've run them on my truck. -
It’s common for the bolts holding the intake manifold to the head to loosen up. Be sure to check on the underside too.

Thank you for saying this. This is what I was trying to say, but failing to word it easily.

If I’m understanding this correctly (doubtful, I haven’t messed with an MJ tailgate in probably 5 years), these are the two holes you’re talking about, right? If so, I think that the hole towards the rear of the truck is threaded and the other hole is a locating hole for a round tab on the hinge pivot.

General Spring replacement leaf

If you’re questioning it, it might be best to call General Spring themselves and see what they think. -

Wheel & Tires- Stock TJ Canyon 15" wheels with 30" Dextero DAT1 tires. Misc- 1980's longbed rollbar. Aftermarket rear bumper that seems to have been a common swap on MJs. Best MJ story- Daughter says: "I was changing the transmission oil and spilled oil all over the floor. It got all over me and it took a while to clean it all up." Dad says: "This was a FREE* Comanche and I drove 4,000 miles to get it. So far it's been worth it. The road trip was pretty fun." Congratulations, Awesome! I am looking forward to see what the future brings for this truck!

Oh boy! That will look pretty cool!
-
Interesting. So what trims did those first ones you posted come on then? Or were they an option or accessory for all trims?
-
Would that be the trim that came on the Laredo?
-
The two green ones look like it for sure. I’m not sure on the grenadine though.
