89 MJ

I think they make some for the 2 door XJ, but I read (on CC I think) that they did not fit the MJ quite right.

I really wanted a set of flares like this for my blue truck, but they didn't make ones for the MJ. I do like the looks of them though.

I used 5/16 grade 8 volts for my intake/exhaust.

Hopefully we are able to come up with more details in the coming weeks/month.

We got it started! Now we just need to track down a misfire. We think it has something to do with the MAP sensor, but hopefully I will find out for sure this weekend. Now I am just waiting on the clutch master cylinder/hydraulic line/slave cylinder assembly and an O2 sensor, and it should be good to put away for the winter.

When did the topper happen?

This is Millie. She is a 5 year old Catahoula Cur. She thinks she is poor, sad, and neglected. You can clearly tell that she has a rough life by the picture of her laying on my bed. She is also drama. She will walk around the house sighing if she doesn't get what she wants. If you go in the bathroom to shower, she will follow you and stare at the space heater until you turn it it (our house stays around 74 degrees, and we have a gas fireplace in the basement that is on a lot).

Any updates on this truck?

Lucky! I should swing up to the yard near me that my brother got his 2nd J10 from. He might have one.

You just need to get a pile of parts ready first. Might as well be productive!

I seem to remember that he said he was going to turbo this truck on Facebook. I wonder what ever happened to that.

I wonder how much the turbos harm the visibility. It looks like a huge obstruction to me (not that that matters as much for a drag car).

This is good to know. I wonder how much a JY would charge for one vs the price of a regular trailer axle (factor in the time to clean it up, pull it out of the vehicle, make it fit the trailer). But it would be easy to get parts for it because its a minivan.

I already have one guy who was asking me how much I will want for this truck once I get my straight body panels on it and get it running and driving. Plus I will need to check with the guy who tried to buy my blue truck from me back when it was white. In other news, hopefully I will be able to start on this next week.
