  1. IMHO, its hard to beat the look of a lifted MJ on big tires, but an otherwise stock appearance (flares, bumpers, etc.). I love this truck.
  2. I don't remember the name of ours off of the top of my head. I really like the idea of this thread though Pete, do you think we should create a couple of threads for similar tools? (torque wrenches, battery impacts, sawzalls, etc.)
  3. That looks like it will be a pretty decent sized shop!
  4. Happy to help!
  5. As long as the steering wheel is pre 95, it should swap pretty easily. Do you have a steering wheel puller? If not, you will need one. They are a nice tool to have on the shelf.
  6. If the flares are easily removed, aren’t you worried about someone stealing them?
  7. I saw it and had to take a picture.
  8. This thing is coming together really well, I love the color. @Pete M, should this be in hardcore tech?
  9. What happens if a vehicle doesn't sell on Copart? I don't need it and I shouldn't get it, but if it will save the truck from getting crushed, I might need to put a bid on it.

    wood stoves

I had to house sit for some friends. Their house is heated by wood, so I had to keep it stocked up. I thought it was pretty fun to need to always make sure there was enough wood for the day and night, and to make sure that it was always producing heat. I would consider owning a house that needs wood to heat it.
  11. This will be a pretty cool build!
  12. When's the Hemi swap?
  13. Check out the WI-MN-IA members post I made in the Great Lakes section. I get the feeling that may be a little to far for you to go though.
  14. Pull up the carpet and check your floors for rust first. Don't get discouraged if they are rusty, most of us have had rusty floors in our MJs before. As said by Tim, get yourself a Renix Engine Monitor, seriously, it will be a lifesaver. Check out the link in my signature for a write up on the 3ish inch lift that I did on my blue MJ (see my profile picture or cover photo if you view my account). You could pick up 2 inch spring spacers and do an Add-A-Leaf like what I did in the link in my signature pretty cheap. Add some WJ Grand Cherokee lower control arms, and you will be able to clear 31s easily. Welcome to the addiction!
  15. Or Pete could create a channel and we could put tech tips, MJ wheeling adventures, PowWows, etc on there.

@mark 39, let’s see some pictures! I’m near La Crosse, where are you?
  17. Those things are sexy beasts.
  18. Next time I’m your way I might need to look you up. What is the largest building you can build in your county?
  19. CC Barn Raising anyone?
  20. Looks pretty straight too.
  21. As of now, I am thinking that we should be planning something for late May/early June.
  22. Must be the same truck then. I couldn't tell if it was filler or not from the pictures, but looked on the thicker side. Either way, looks like it will be a good driver.
  23. Any updates on the truck, Brent?
  24. Looks like a nice truck. Is this the truck that I had posted in the not my crap section of the classifieds? It should have a spot where the body filler is flaking off and there is rusting bare metal on the roof.
  25. I know nothing about merch. That said, what is defined as "cheap" when it comes to merch?
