  1. That truck was too clean to be in there! And AMC 20?! I wish I was closer I'd grab that for my truck instead of the 44 I have!
  2. The casting numbers are passenger side of the block up front. Just under the cylinder head. Its similar to an sbc Chevy engine.
  3. I wonder if the 2.8 was replaced with one that was internally balanced and the flex plate has not been neatrally balanced for it so its throwing things off?
  4. Isn't there supposed to be 2 blue wires for the plate lights? I feel like one could be cut and shorting somewhere in the loom there. I would say take that harness out and pull the wires out of the loom to see what's really going on if you can
  5. Or the westin bumper. But hey, gives me more opportunities to scoop them!
  6. Yeah there was definitely not enough bracing on these rear bumpers. And the sheet metal was thin ive noticed. Ive also noticed how a lot of people don't know or care about the factory rear bumpers either. Some were listed for $250, easily repairable damage and people were complaining about the price. Blew my mind
  7. Only one broken stud too!
  8. When someone says they have an mj rear bumper for just the price of shipping?? I just can't help myself! Maybe a $100 shipped to my door and the bumper is complete. A little rough but might be savable. If not, maybe i can use it towards making new bumpers? No promises on that though. Either way, I can't help myself on a deal!
  9. Welcome to the forum and the mj addiction! I hope we can help you get your truck back up and opporational again!
  10. Either ecm has a short somewhere, or a component on the board has failed. Take the ecm out and open her up
  11. How bad is your sender.
  12. The switch is an easy remedy. The light is not Someone on here makes the faceplates for the switches. Id just drill out the screws
  13. Its got the cargo light!!
  14. A marketplace find. Been sitting quite some time.
  15. Trust me, its better than the one i have.
  16. I need that header! Or at the very least grill and side markers!
  17. 1jthp63p3jt186397 (correct me if I read it wrong) This one i believe is an 88. dark blue Olympic edition! Had the decals and stickers on the fenders and body. It was also a pioneer! 2.5, auto on the column, 4x4, Short bed! Dark blue with light blue interior. Was a very solid truck. Minor rot on the rockers and cab corners. Tailgate was bent but oe bumper was still there. Had a color matched topper. No other major features. Dummy cluster. 2.5 was allegedly blown. And had 222k miles on it. Owned by skis garage in Connecticut.
  18. 1jtnl631xht179494 i think thats what i read for the vin, i thought i took a better photo of the vin plate. believe its an 89? But not sure. 4.0 5 speed short bed. Was red with honey or tan Interior. Cloth bench. Unibody was rotted Owned by skis auto in Connecticut.
  19. So I took a road trip today from ma to CT, about 2 hours to go look at a cheap first Gen firebird body at a shops private yard, sadly the bird was too good to be true and I had to walk away. However, while I was there I did have a look at 2 and a half comanches he happened to have in the yard too! One of them I'm still trying to talk myself down from haha One is an 88/89 Olympic pioneer short bed! Dark blue? On light blue interior. 2.5, auto. Rockers and cab corners rough but body solid. Engine allegedly blown. Sadly none of the 2.5 trucks have paperwork. And the other two are ROTTED. I wish I had gotten photos but I was trying to be respectful of the gentleman's time. I did get the vins at least. They are also for sale. He prefers to sell whole not in parts but again, no paperwork.. (Olympic model) (Half a truck. no idea the trim.. sportruck?) (Rattlecan camo job. Complete but unibody rotted.) was an enjoyable little adventure but sad to see them sit and rot.
  20. Door sticker was still readable surprisingly! Dated 10/89 Found what was left of this truck at skis garage in Connecticut. 4.0 auto truck i believe. Red and tan with a bench (with head rests) back half of truck rotted away and is gone. No axle, no bed. Front smashed. No idea if it was a lwb or swb. Only good for drivetrain and interior. Sorry no other photos. There were 2 other mjs in the yard as well.
  21. Couldn't find the video but here's another post of it with a TikTok link so that should have videos of it. https://comancheclub.com/topic/59741-just-put-down-the-hammer-and-back-away-slowly/?do=findComment&comment=762582
  22. I think I saw a video of this thing moving around. It may even be on here somewhere. At the very least.. it's still on the ride and alive. So a win. But she R U F F
  23. When you are ready to sell, what would you be asking? I need some parts haha
  24. What do you intend to do with the waggy header? Wall art?
  25. I guess it depends on what you are looking for. I've had very mixed experiences with all but Napa. (I haven't shopped at a Napa in a long time) Autozones parts are a mixed bag, quality control isn't great. I bought a power steering pump for one of my zjs a few years back, discovering they had switched up who their reman company was, put the new pump in and it didnt want to bleed properly and after going lock to lock a few times the pump literally blew up the steering box and then it died immediately. Couldn't get a new one for a few days so I just got a used one instead. Advance auto I've run into issues with electrical parts. They have a policy that if you open, or install electrical parts they can exhange but REFUSE to return them. So you have to be super careful about that.
