That thing is too straight and clean to be in there. Rip

Its.. in a shape. Haha Considering the tailgate itself is basically crushed flat its not the worse it could be. But it's been used for sure..

I don't know if it's the same brand but I have one on a very beat up tailgate. Sadly the only image i have of the liner and tailgate. It's currently in storage

As luck will have it i found them! Somehow. They wandered away from eachother at some point. Took some searching to find them both.

I'll look through my garage tomorrow. There's only two places they can be lol

I've got a pair as well. I juat need to remember where I put them 😅

I do have an extra set if that doesn't work out. They need work though

I've seen worse. At least she's in one piece! And it's an ho

Could a wire(s) have been pinched when the replacement column went in?

I had actually mistook that for another one that had gone up for sale with it. I tried editing my post to fix my mistake but guess it didn't work hahah so I was wrong and ignore my comment lmao

Looks like a good rescue project to me!

I'm here to say nice truck but also I so love your username! Hahaha

I have reached out to the guy and will try to score the lot.

More discoveries! It's fun to learn or try to figure out how amc/chrysler designed these trucks through the years

Had to go get it from my post.

I wonder if all 86 benches were like that? One design and then chrysler did 2 designs? Less a sales thing and more a design thing?

It's the mini consol for the 4wd shifter.

My 86 auto on the column has a notched bench and I know it's original to the truck.

My local yard here in mass just got a yj in that only has 42k miles. Interior is pretty good. Grey though. Don't know where you are located.

Ah, then it definitely was not me haha And I don't understand too much of the chip off the top of my head but If I can get one I can do a little research to explain for a write up. Can't even remember the name of it! The wiper modules have them too I think. And at that thought I have another reason to look into them..

You know.. funny you mention that because it may have been me. Truthfully I don't remember who sent me one but I do remember having issues and someone sending me one that didn't end up working either. (Still have it somewhere) And I don't remember if I took photos or not. If I can dig out the other tach I can snap photos. I didn't realize you can still get the little chips new so I pulled a v6 fiero tach and pulled the chip off that.

I actually fixed mine on my v6 tach with a new voltage regulating chip. My tach was acting up and soldering in a new one fixed my issue. But eagle is right it's mostly just capacitors and resistors.

I've seen that one too! The progression ignition distributor i believe. I want to reach out to them and see if I can get one for the v6.

This was my clearance score from advance. Got this bad Larry for $25!!!!!

If i can get it, my main focus would primarily be the xj/mj community. But it is definitely a goal to figure this out!
