  1. Lol no excuses, just ran out of time The brush guard is sitting happily in the dry garage against a tower of take of rims and tires at their house. I am very excited to get that guard down here come May and work on it. I often daydream about having that guard installed.
  2. Depends. What are your goals with the MJ are. Do you want to keep everything era correct and build it how you wouldve ordered it from a dealer or do you want to build it how you want?
  3. Hang on to it and use it for when you don't give a duck.
  4. Never heard of this either, but I deliberately live out of the loop on modern things. But sounds a little uncreative. I am more surprised that they didnt question you on if your MJ is authentic or not.
  5. Bad fan clutch comes to mind too.
  6. https://1drv.ms/v/s!AiQ3QjzZaCUzkw1hmpVmyMC4WWr0?e=S9J8f8 A raw unedited(not that I really edit my videos) little tour of chunk. I apologize for the camera work and such but I literally whipped it up 30 minuets before leaving to head to the airport to come home.
  7. I bought all new MoPar arms, course they were a bit cheaper for me but MoPar is still a route that can be taken.
  8. Just waiting to get home. The limitations of cellular data transfer from my phone to the OneDrive is slow.
  9. I whipped up a video real quick before I fly home. Includes a quick demonstration of starting and a tour of the interior and rear hatch.
  10. eBay is the best place to look. Just type Jeep NOS or whatever you’re looking for as NOS. As for me and some of the other members who can as well usually do our hunts with dealerships. Others on the other hand seem to have a hidden source.
  11. Could always give the contacts a good clean on the chime module if you didn’t. Otherwise I don’t know how to take them apart. I know the one in Chunk is a bit weak too but I blame all the grounds and crap that probably haven’t been done yet.
  12. It always is lol. Never ends. Can’t wait to show you guys more and what I find for the XJs. Lol very true.
  13. Looking mostly there lol. Went to change the shift knob out and discovered the threads have been completely sheared off the stick. Every time I do one thing it’s got story behind it lol. I had to charge the battery due to some neglect from someone starting him once a week but things in WA seem to corrode pretty damn fast. Also neglecting changing the ground cable, but I have to lay on the wet grass to get to the bolt. Aw hell I might do it anyways tomorrow. Also there will be a tour tour video of chunk come tomorrow. This was a completely short planned visit but it’s my girls birthday and I have a three day weekend from work and decided it would be nice to go for the weekend.
  14. Eh, depends on what you’re transporting. Stuff will bake but it’s nice for the security of your luggage or shopping. But that’s why I have the soft topper for now.
  15. Ultimately building her how I would’ve went and ordered her had I been around that time. The thought has crossed my mind a few times about a topper.
  16. Won’t be able to get the info until this evening. If one of my two partners in crime would like to.
  17. Yup! Got good using the Dremel when I was working on the rear bumper. Thanks man! Lol I would be happy to help out lol.
  18. Well I actually wanted to go further and get creative with it but there's only so much plastic to work with and couldn't achieve the fit I wanted where it would fit the contours of the center part of the bench. So what I did was got a trashed full console from my favorite Jeep yard. I actually had the console for quite sometime and pulled it for another member but they found one closer to them. So I took this one, measured the distance from the center vent(still had the small console vent) to the bench seat, made some marks on the console and used a Dremel to cut away the storage box half. I then had to pull the full console under dash vent and duct work and cut the duct to fit and put in the under dash vent with no modifications. I ended up using the floor piece of the console box to make complete the rear cup, which was JBwelded on and holds great. Rest was simply plug and play once the console was done and ready for installation. The only issue I had was the cup holder falling out and not being supported due to the lack of rearward support, so I put a couple unused clothes and stuffed them between the console and duct to get a more secure cup holder. I am currently working on some pieces that will enclose the rear more so you can't see under the console.
  19. Edge and Shiney(chrome) both won't display CC.
  20. Replaced some broken connectors today. Pretty happy with a good tight click hanging on now. You might know or might now but the four prong is for the ISA and the green is for the MAP I am sure you all know that one. They have seen their years of service.

  22. Holmbergs morning sickness for me. They broadcast live on the radio here and then their recordings from the day usually drop around 10:30-11 my time. Absolutely hilarious of a show and great to listen to when wrenching.
