I decided to lower the truck some to make it more of a street truck. Ended up doing ZJ rear springs in the front for about 2”. Then I did xj shackles and 1.5” blocks out back for about 2.5”. It looks pretty good in my opinion. It just needs the same size tires all the way around. Probably going to go with 215/75/15s which is what’s on the front

Got all the old decals and bedliner stripped off the lower part of the body. Fixed the broken striker on the drivers door as well. Working on fixing all the dents now so hopefully it’ll be ready for primer and paint pretty soon

Anyone working on reproducing splash guards/mud flaps?

They really would be pretty easy to cut out from some generic sheet or another set of mudflaps. Top picture is the mj rears, bottom is the xj/mj fronts -

Oh yea for sure! Hopefully I’ll score more wall hangers this weekend at a few junkyards

Yea that’s correct. Too good of a deal to pass up

Finally got the wipers working. Turned out to be a simple fix. The wiper delay module looked to have been submerged and very rusty inside. Changed that and the circuit breaker and now they work. Installed a trailer hitch too and haven’t done much else to this truck other than drive it -
Yea luckily he took an offer😂 I didn’t need it at all but I didn’t have a chrome one
-
I’ll have it out when I pull the dash to put the black one in so I’ll try to remember to make a diagram then for whoever needs it. I just kinda have the truck together enough now so I can move it around
-
I never made a diagram but I can pull it back out of the truck and make one. I just kinda started tracing the circuit board and hooked it all up

I used the Renix gauge in the ho cluster so I could use a Renix fuel sending unit and have the gauge read correctly. It’s not really necessary now because MTS makes new HO MJ sending units which they didn’t make at the time I did the swap

Started stripping the bedliner off the passengers door and put some primer on it. Still needs some finish work though. Talk about something that sucks to remove. Used a scraper and a heat gun which worked but it still wasn’t easy
-
Yea I know lol. Just let me know, I’d like it to go to a good home before it gets accidentally broken in my building

I still have the one out of this jeep. It’s in great shape from what I remember. Not sure if you’ll be over my way anytime soon though
-
Yea they are taller and skinner than regular xj/mj ones

I have quite a few but none have been tested

full cluster with column shift?
88mjsally replied to Pete M's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I have one but it’s a 3/4 cluster from a police xj. I haven’t had a factory full column shift cluster -

Not at this time, maybe in the future

Yea it would be…. Not sure what the demand would be though
