Here’s the start of the obd1 swap where my dad and I started moving stuff over from the doner. Got the dash all in and all the wiring under the hood. Adapted the factory xj fuel lines to the Comanche hardlines

Got the truck stripped on thanksgiving and all ready for the obd1 swap to begin. Damage was pretty bad but luckily it was contained to the hvac box area

Bought this burned 89 over the summer from the same guy I got my long bed from. It’s been sitting for a few years and had a pretty bad dash fire in the hvac box. I decided I wanted to try to do an obd1 swap using a 93 xj I bought for $550 running and driving. Here’s pics from when I brought it home. Future plans include a black interior and fresh paint so pretty much what Jeep should have made in 93

I haven’t had the time to make more of these recently, I’ve been focusing on graduating. Once that happens I’ll hopefully have more time. If not there’s another member I may turn the making of these over to -
I have a set for sale but they are pretty busted up. The drivers is usable but the passengers is pretty much just the housing. Have a bunch of nicer ones but they are all on complete headers or go to headers I want to make complete

I’ll take a pic for you the week of thanksgiving if that’s ok. That’s the next time I’ll be at the truck

I have a pretty nice used set that I’d let go of. I can get some better pics if interested. They are the ones on this truck
-
I probably have that piece used if you'd rather go that route. I have one complete set that I'm planning to keep but I have a pile of extras too that id let go of

Here’s the interior parts all laid out. Got almost a complete mj black interior. Just missing the back two cab pieces, dash and seatbelts. Plan to go back and grab seatbelts and the dash from one of the cherokees when it gets a little colder. Second pic is all the extras that I grabbed

Always! I’m just amazed how many mjs I found on this trip
-
-
Yea... it’s rust free but has damage on the back and dents all over
-
Another two yards today and 2 more mjs as well as a lot more cool xjs. Truck is getting full and we are heading home so I’ll post the haul later
-
Maybe but there’s very few places to put stuff cause the yard is so full

I can’t really read the vin well but pretty sure it’s an 87. Seems to be a base 2.5 truck with a black interior

It was nice but it would be hell to get out. They also stack and it’s all the way in the back of a row. I graduate in December and am planning another trip around then. You’re more than welcome to tag along

Every year I try to do a junkyard trip the weekend of my birthday so this year I found a few new yards. These are the pics from the first and there were 3 mjs and some rare xjs too
