  1. I see 3 a day but all 3 are in my driveway I normally see around 1-2 others around here per month and I’ve sold parts to most of the guys that own them around here
  2. It’s a show truck again with my dads Divco milk truck that we got finished up a couple months ago
  3. It’s broke off in the head and doesn’t leak so it’ll be fine. It’s been like that ever since I got it
  4. New power steering pulley and thermostat housing are in. Put it all back together for the most part. Just need to go get heater hose tomorrow to finish the open cooling swap
  5. Well todays wrenching didn’t exactly go to plan. Started just changing the water pump and ended up changing the power steering pump and pressure hose because they were leaking and I had new ones. Then I tried to take the thermostat housing off and the upper bolt was seized to it so now I need a new one of those. Also need a new power steering pump pulley and a new grill… So it might go back together this weekend when the parts come in
  6. Well I finally got it figured out. When the truck had the fire the TCU plug got melted so I spliced in a new one. Turned out there were 3 wires that had a twin of the same color and I got the two red ones mixed up so I didn’t have power to the tps. Swapped those wires and it shifts nice and smooth now just like it’s supposed to. Now just for an alignment, glass and a paint job for the roof
  7. Fluid looks good and is full. I haven’t dropped the pan and haven’t really seen a need to since the solenoids tested good
  8. Transmission still is acting up and honestly it’s about to become a parts truck like I originally planned. I’ve cleaned all the grounds, changed the tps (still can’t get voltage on the trans side), tried 4 different tcms, refreshed all the connectors, verified the resistance is good on the solenoids and changed the speed sensor. It shifts now after changing the speed sensor but shifts at 4k rpm. The tps still doesn’t give any voltage on the trans side no matter how it’s adjusted. The fire probably damaged some wire somewhere even though I didn’t see any heat damage in the engine bay around the harness
  9. Pretty solid and well built.
  10. Got the entire Jeep just for the Renix relay cover clips😂
  11. Here’s some other pics of the custom fab
  12. This is probably the worst Jeep I’ve ever bought for parts. They “custom” extended all the control arms in the front and stacked lift blocks in the rear to lift it. All the angles are jacked up underneath. Peugeot Trans is broken and the drivers door won’t mount because the pins broke. The front bumper is about to fall off from just pushing it off the trailer. It was supposed to run but the battery is shot so it had to be pushed on the trailer. It also has some sort of custom stack exhaust on the side that’s not even hooked up anymore. It’s good enough for parts though😂 I’ll post more pics of the terrible custom suspension when I go take all the aftermarket parts off tomorrow morning
  13. Awesome, I appreciate it
  14. Looking for a 89-90 Renix TCU in known working condition. It must be tested and working because I’m trying to rule that out as an issue on my blue long bed. I’ve had 3 so far that didn’t work although 2 were next to fires and 1 I probably shouldn’t have bought
  15. Well it’s registered and insured now. Just needs a windshield and my dad decided to start painting the roof so it’s 2 tone at the moment. I’m having an issue with the trans at the moment so I need to figure that out tomorrow. I’m leaning towards it being the TCU since both the ones I tried have been next to fires and it doesn’t want to go out of 1st gear
  16. Some people really just suck. I went to visit my girlfriend this weekend and took my dads car since it’s more interstate driveable and the Jeeps all stayed at home. My dad drove my tj to the airport and we figured out last night that someone decided to siphon the gas out of both my grey truck and the tj. Dad just thought my Jeep was empty and filled it up but the grey truck was so empty that I apparently melted a wire trying to run the pump with no gas. It’s all good now and locking gas caps are on the way
  17. Replaced the cowl seal today and it needed it for sure. Plan to finally put the wire loom on the efi harness and do a few other little things before it goes to a car show in march
  18. Most of the stripes are gone along with the paint…. Probably going to either paint the bottom part of the truck black or look into respraying the whole truck before too long
  19. New tires and turbines are on today! Little smaller than what I normally buy but they’ll be good on the interstate driving to work. Much better than the steel wheels and bald tires
  20. Here’s some interior pics of how it looks currently. Need to fix a water leak, finish the headliner and put the interior panels back in it. I did get the fuel gauge wiring today thanks to a new Bosch pump I had and a used sending unit. The one in the truck came from an HO xj so it read backwards. Also swapped the fuel filter and it seems to crank better and the pump isnt loud like the old one
  21. Finally figured out the return to idle and running issues with the truck. I had installed a throttle body spacer a while back trying to fix another issue which was probably the bad injectors. Turns out it wasn’t the right shape for the intake so it was creating a vacuum leak. Pulled it off and reset the idle and it runs much better
  22. Towed home another parts Cherokee today. Truck did pretty well, stopping is much better now that the trailer brakes function
  23. Mine has earned its keep a lot in the past few weeks
  24. Got a full cluster in it yesterday which I thought would be hard since it’s a column shift but it ended up being really easy. I’ll try to get more pics of the inside later since it has a different seat in it now
  25. Well it’s been a while but this truck is all back together and runs and drives again. I originally planned to flip it but now I’m going to drive it to work. Just need to fix the water leaks in the cab, put the plastics back in it, put the new tires on and a few more things before I can start driving it
