What engine -
Sounds like either a lazy landlord or tenant trying to keep it going without having the rent go up
-
Yep, sounds like the shop didn't want to deal with it, or care to even make an effort to figure out where the leak was and how healthy the engine is. Do cruisers valve cover mod, change the gasket and wash the engine
-
And should be built correctly if the machine shop is competent.
-
You know there's a newer version of this right?
-
Numbers? Also if they say it has blowby did they do a leak down test to say which cylinder is causing this? How did the come to the conclusion that it has blow by? Have you used this shop before, not saying they aren't good just trying to get some facts. But if your set on their diag. It all depends on the plans of the truck and time frame
-
Have you done a compression check yet? No sense in rebuilding a good motor if it's just simple things wrong.

RPMs drop to zero, while driving - Can't solve
jdog replied to Big Dan's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Gotta remember theirs a lot of stuff that needs to be grounded and the engine itself is only grounded thru those wires. I'd also be inspecting the dipstick tube and ground cable -
Some of the 2.5 had it, ps was an option iirc
-
Price and location per forum rules lol, only other thing I would think would be a approx route or state where your headed

Unless the wire is broken and would vibrate while driving -

Is the clutch pedal hitting any wires? Or moving any harness under the dash? -

I wish you luck on your search. -

Check all the grounds, check the one at the dipstivk and if you haven't already done it get a ground wire from the block to the firewall. I suspect your clutch is acting as a ground. -
Should have rigged up a power wheels driveline to it. Motorized wheel barrow But looks a lot better then some of the wheel barrows if seen lately

Did you get a chance to check your hoses -
Yeah I figured it'd be a solid plate or something not sure why
