3.55s on the AX with <31" tires is a nice combo. Had that on an older truck and loved it.

While I am actually enthralled with this TE27 I agree with you. I would love a pristine comanche (or hell even a "nice" one), but only so I could pretend it was new. Will it ever happen? Probably not with this one =P

Looks like it has a 6spd swapped in! Has enough tire shine to hide the fact that only 1 of the tires is any good. The other three are knock-off cheap crap. I would hard pressed to spend any money on this beater...

85 in a comanche is as scary as 120 in my minivan. I think I will stay with the 85mph speedo =P

It is highly dependent on the filament being used. For outdoor applications he really needs to use PETG filament.

I haven't heard anything bad about them. I don't know anyone with a 5 but I have had several friends with 3s that have the same drivetrain. No major issues. Plus if you get bored you can swap in the Speed 3s drivetrain... I contemplated a Mazda 5 before I got the Hot-rOdyssey.

If you are willing to squint and pretend it isn't a minivan... Mazda 5? It is somewhere between wagon and van and you can have it with a manual trans.

I love my minivan though... XB is a great choice though. RAV4, Honda Fit, and the Chevy Cruze would be things I would look at also.
