  1. I'd love to be able to host them somewhere so they can be shared here in an as-needed basis.
  2. Too bad those new-fangled HOs don't have knock sensors..............
  3. There's a good possibility that my diagram is correct and the FSM is wrong. You could do a continuity check to verify. I'd appreciate it. You could also unplug the O2 sensor, start the Jeep and check for power between the red and black wires.
  4. They're there to be shared. Enjoy. Also check back once in a while. I add stuff almost weekly.
  5. Thanks for using the photos!! Just what I was hoping for. Too bad I don't know how to do it. How long is a piece of string, BTW?
  6. Too funny!! I needed that. How's this? (smirk, heard it, forwarded) A woman from Los Angeles, who was a tree hugger and an anti-hunter, purchased a piece of timberland. There was a large tree on one of the highest points in the tract. She wanted a good view of the natural splendor of her land so she started to climb the big tree. As she neared the top she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her. In her haste to escape, the woman slid down the tree to the ground and got many splinters in her crotch. In considerable pain, she hurried to the nearest doctor. She told him she was an environmentalist and an anti-hunter and how she came to get all the splinters. The doctor listened to her story with great patience and then told her to go into the examining room and he would see if he could help her. She sat and waited three hours before the doctor reappeared. The angry woman demanded, "What took you so long?" He smiled and then told her, "Well, I had to get permits from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Forest Service and the Bureau of Land Management before I could remove old-growth timber from a recreational area. I'm sorry, but they turned me down."
  7. If the incoming air is below a certain temp, the #8 opens up and pulls the flap on the air cleaner to draw air from the hot manifold thingie. When temp is above that level, it lets the flap close and pull cool air in from the front of the vehicle. Do you live in the North Pole?
  8. Do the ground refreshing. Post 1 in my Tips.
  9. Are those still available? I thought I bought the last one in captivity about four years ago. I did from the dealer. But as it turned out the PC307 from RockAuto was a Siemens, made in France. I think they're still available. cruiser54, Please tell me more about the high altitude CPS. Does it fit the High Output 4.0? Am I correct that it advances the timing a few degrees to compensate for lower density air at high altitude? Has anyone used this on the 4.0? Thanks for any information. No, it does not. A stock one can be modified though.
  10. Since I have limited computer skills, I am providing a link to my Jeep Technical photos on another forum. Feel free to check them out and use/share them as needed. http://www.cherokeeforum.com/members/cruiser54-42565/albums/jeep-technical-photos/
  11. Can't look that up right now, but if the O2 sensor heater doesn't get heated, your O2 sensor doesn't work. I was too lazy to re-read the thread. Sorry. If you click on the link below and scroll through, you'll see not only some nifty Jeep technical photos, but a diagram of the REnix relay center. http://www.cherokeeforum.com/members/cruiser54-42565/albums/jeep-technical-photos/
  12. I use the late 90s one on my auto.
  13. Refresh me about your oxygen sensor.
