  1. Whaddya mean "front end"?
  2. Good. Go to post 7 in my Tips link and you can see the proper routing...
  3. There are some electronic differences for sure.
  4. That's my experience also. But, there's not an abundance of 95 to 96 XJs out there. We need another solution. With the ZJ booster, was it necessary to bend the pinch-weld up?
  5. New vs old oil usually is why you observed what you did.
  6. I would begin by inspecting the engine and trans mounts and adjusting the linkage per the video. And once you've got the transfer case shifting, eliminate the cAD before IT disappoints you somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
  7. With a 231 and cAD, you can rotate the front drive shaft with the front wheels on the ground and the lever in 2H.
  8. Adjust your transfer case linkage, check your engine and trans mounts.
  9. The vacuum switch on the transfer case gives vacuum to the CAD to engage/disengage it. That's all. Are you stuck in 4wd or is the CAD just staying engaged?
  10. You're welcome. Try the Rotella and a Napa Gold filter. Couldn't hurt to substitute 1 quart of Rotella for a quart of Marvel Mystery Oil.
  11. Chrysler bought Jeep in 1987. My wife's 88 has the ChryCo logo on the intake manifold.
  12. How many bolts attach the throttle body to the intake manifold?
  13. If you can't find one, I have some.
  14. Yep. Extremely rare, especially with your low mileage... Hokey patch on the EGR tube.
  15. You deserve your money back. I have a good source for 6 refurbished 746 injectors.
  16. Might be timing chain you're hearing. Rare, but could be it.
  17. Only at idle? Use a mechanic's stethoscope and see if you can pinpoint the location of the noise.
