  1. Yep. And promptly $#!&-can the cap it comes with and get a 703-1396 cap from Napa.Do you know of anyone who carries the proper cap for the 4 banger overflow tank? I can't seem to get one that fits properly. Not sure. Screw on? I would assume the same as a 4.0.Yep. It's a screw on, but it's different from the L6 trucks. I tried a cap off a Renix XJ and my own ZJ. No joy. The ZJ cap LOOKS close, but fits too loosely. My solution was a piece of rubber glove under the remnants of my stock cap. Ghetto fabulous! Nice.

  4. I'm waiting. LOL. Do the dizzy unplug while you're at it.
  5. Butt connectors on the wiring? That don't make me feel all warm and fuzzy..............
  6. That's a first. It will start and run with the distributor harness unplugged. Try it again.
  7. Well I'll be dipped. Whooda thunk it?
  8. I would disconnect the knock sensor and drive it first to verify. I'm really having a hard time thinking that's it.
  9. Correct. 91 when the HO first appeared.
  10. Post a photo of your engine bay please.
  11. You can install a stand alone WB on anything if it has it's own O2 sensor. As far as compatibility, the Renix O2 sensor is not compatible with WB.
  12. So you have the 95 Cherokee vacuum system also?
  13. Plugs were still in it, It was WOT though. Wasnt op temp, But wasnt cold. I wouldn't worry about it because you only pulled one plug at a time. If it bugs you, do it again with all plugs removed at once. How does it run? Seems like there's always a slight missfire at idle & always seems a bit rich. How's the fittings/hose/tube from the throttle body to MAP sensor? Which of my Tips have you completed so far?

  15. Need to see if it's building any oil pressure. Unplug the CPS and crank it for a minute while watching the oil pressure gauge.
  16. Did you pull ALL the plugs and then do the test with the throttle wide open? Was the engine up to operating temp or cold?
  17. Hmmmm. How long did you run it with the oil not reaching the valve train, and what did your oil pressure gauge read during that time?
  18. Yes. It was in the exhaust manifold. HO had it in the headpipe. 3 sensors on the lower left of engine. CTS, O2, knock. Harness for them runs from front of injector rail kinda down behind the power steering pump.
  19. How did you install the oil pickup tube?
  20. Glad to hear about the starting. What brand of oil filter are you using?
  21. MAP is a major player in the grand scheme of things, and it relies on a proper vacuum signal to do it's job.
