  1. if the engine is overheating, touch the radiator, if it`s cool enough to hold your hand on it, coolant is not flowing, make sure coolant is even moving before start changing parts... i learned that the hard way...

  3. Take the chance and upgrade to a double diaphagram ZJ booster from a junkyard
  4. from the top remove the shifter boot and see how many bolts hold the shifter assembly, 3 for a BA10/5 and 4 for the ax15
  5. you are swapping only the engine? if the current AW4+TC works, leave that, not sure if the 4WD tranny (renix) will work with the 2WD one (HO) tcu
  6. the box is irrelevant, you can also ignore the light and be done with it... or remove the bulb what is not irrelevant is changing the sensor unless he wants the engine to drip gasoline all the time...

  8. "Emiss Maint" light comes when is time to change your O2 sensor, you must change the sensor and reset/get-a-new timer Renix is brand/type of system that controls you engine...

No. Cathodic protection systems are used extensively on underground tanks and pipelines, ship hulls, etc. but never successfully on automobiles. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cathodic_protection#Automobiles that thing is electrical, looks like snake oil to me... antirust agents in the coolant work the same way, the corrode instead of the engine and eventually run out...

  17. good luck finding a good MJ, XJs with fixable 4.0+AW4s are everywhere...
  18. of course i mean cutting behind the front doors and installing a bed, i don`t know if the xj has the right subframe to do so... i don`t own one.. the ZJ doesn`t have it that`s for sure
  19. yesterday i saw a late model XJ with the rear chopped off... not just cut but they actually made a door for it, soemthing like this with some welding skill and patience, we can turn any XJ into a semi MJ XJs are everywhere, MJs are dissapearing MJs only go up to 1992, XJs lasted till 2001 any of you have tried it?
  20. bad engine prone to many problems either alone or combined, low power... the only good thing about this is engine is you can swap it for a 4.0 and then sell it as junk...

  22. i pitty the fool who has to delete his C101 :yes: with my crappy LPG setup, most of the wires are gone now, yesterday took out both temp sensors and O2 wires too, now it always runs in "warm up mode" from what i have read, when cold ignition gets a few much needed degrees of advance
  23. did you have enough fuel? when not swiming on gas even the best pump dies within a minute...
