My Dad (90) and his girlfriend (95) are both WWII veterans. Someone up at our American Legion Post set me up with this website called Honor Flight. They take veterans and fly them to Washington DC to see the War Memorials (free). This outfit is located all across the US. Right now they're looking for WWII veterans, so if you know of anyone (parent, friend, lonely person sitting in a senior housing unit) now is the time to sign them up. Those fuel pressure numbers, could this be a stuck fuel pressure regulator? Check hose from FPR to manifold.

I've often wondered if using the fuel pump ballast resistor for a voltage drop could determine current flow thru the pump. This could just be wasted motion, but is simple to do. Hook VM across the ballast. Reading should be ≈3.0vdc under normal operation (at idle). Not sure what my question would be, but what does the VM do during the stall?

May not matter which came first, the light or the noid. What matters is that you get one and then the other, over and over again.

How did you determine which light lit first?

I think the factory wants them. That way when a vehicle is rolling off the line and doesn't start, the vehicle behind it can push it to the railhead. I've seen it happen.
