Welcome to the madness. :waving:

Nice write up.

You have to feed a horse whether you're using it or not. You only feed a truck when you use it.

When I was in high school I was in the Jr ROTC. When ever we marched in any of the parades we always got placed BEHIND the horse corps. You ever try marching in formation while watching out for horse apples? Besides, I only scare the little kids. Not the big ones.

NO! Like anything metal, it can be made to work. How good are your fabrication skills? The S10 bumper is 2-3 inches narrower than a MJ bumper.

Lived in Blaine, Wa for a year. Made the news while I was there. Aug 23, 1962 it didn't rain from 10:33 AM until 4:30 PM.

I don't do parades.

Around 2:30, 1430 today I tried to check in with no luck. All i would get was the little arrow going in a circle for a minute and then a message saying "504 Gateway Time-out" I rebooted several times with no luck. Didn't get into the CC forum until after 6PM. Was it my puter or was the forum having problems? Windows 7 and FireFox.

That's it. Don't overdo it.

These are the only hubcaps I could find with clips. I don't see how they can rust on. These are the hubcaps like Eagle was referring to. They're rusted pretty bad and you're probably going to twist the head off the bolt trying to remove them.Soak them good with Liquid Wrench,or a good rust penetrate. Good luck.

What part of "properly used" you missed? :D
-
How about the brain? Properly used can handle pretty much what ever comes along.

Neighborhood light dimmer.

Vice grips. About the only thing they can't remove is a flat head screw. To cold to work in the garage? Then work outside.

On a 25 year old vehicle it could be anywhere. Assuming it still has one. Did you check inside the spare tire? Originally it was located under the floorboard attached to the inside of the left hand frame rail.Almost directly under the drivers seat. Follow the gas line from the outlet in the gas tank and it should be about two feet forward. There's a good chance when they swapped engines they also swapped fuel pumps which means the filter is in the fuel tank.

Went to the P&P this morn. Unfortunately got there just in to see them loading up the '87 MJ they had for the trip to the crusher. Seems they keep them for a predetermined time and then it's out of the yard. Fellas in the rust belt would have cried seeing it. Their wasn't a rust spot or dent in the entire body. Windshield wasn't even cracked or pitted. I would still like to have a little talk with the AH that sold it to them.

LOL. Wasn't in the desert. Was in town.

The worst experience I ever had from buying something over the phone wasn't a Jeep. I had a nice '52 Cadillac Coupe DeVille, 100% all original, except for the gas tank that had been replaced. A fella out in Calif had a 1947 Piper J3. I took my first flying lessons in a Cub and had been looking for one for awhile when I saw his ad. We had several conversations on the phone and swapped pics. According to him the Cub was 100% original, never been wrecked or damaged, never used as a trainer or duster yak, yak, etc, etc, The pics he sent showed a showed a factory fresh show room condition A/C. We agreed on a price. My Caddy and a 'couple bucks' for the Cub. Left Raton, NM and drove straight thru 1,050 miles to San Diego in 23 hours. Met him at the airport and saw the plane. My Gawd. Two completely different birds. Engine was covered in oil with a puddle underneath. One wing was warped. The fuselage looked like heat waves coming off a Southern Texas highway in July. Poorly applied patches everywhere. Faded, cracked plexiglass windshield. You get the idea. I thought maybe I could still salvage the deal work something out but then he started bad mouthing the Caddy. Paint was faded, scratched. Upholstery shot, etc. It wasn't. Finally I got royally p*ssed and told him where he could park his plane, and it wasn't in the hanger. and left. Been leery of phone deals, sight unseen ever since.

89 MJ Totalled, the Resurrection!
jimoshel replied to xjtrailrider's topic in Member Projects: Your Comanches
The ladies got a sharp eye. I never noticed it. -
Was driving thru town and it was in the oncoming left lane. Made a left turn behind me. I made it down to the corner, grabbed two rights and a left but it was nowhere in sight. Cruised the neighborhood for a bit but never saw it. Anyway I know there's another one out there so I'll be keeping an eye out for it. And just as I was beginning to think I'd finally cornered the market around here. :MJ 1:

Why don't you post your location? I bet a lot of folks would be willing to help, if they knew where you were.

Fuel Pump Question On 1984 Jeep Xj With A 2.8
jimoshel replied to ICEBOX's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
And speaking of obvious. Should have been the first thing to suggest. Do you still have the old pump? was it working at all? Did you place it and the new one side by side and compare them?
