  2. If OP has a v-belt (which, from his comments, I believe he does), AC will not factor into the power steering. They are on two different pulley arrangements.
  3. Whether or not he has AC shouldnt affect the routing for power steering, unless I am misunderstanding something.
  4. Are you ESL? This is going to be incredibly difficult to help you.
  5. If it is a v-belt set up, your search just got a lot harder.
  6. Did you have an issue threading the nut with the splatter?
  7. What do the after pictures look like?
  8. That's on 4wd, the 2wd ax15 should be 27 spline. Count the splines on your drive shaft and output shaft on the tranny to make sure. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  9. That's correct Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  10. Master slave combo from 94-96 cherokee. You need an ax15 transmission mount (the rubber thing) and also the ax15 bracket (the metal bracket that holds the rubber mount). If you have a 2wd, the drive shafts shouldn't be a problem. At least mine was not. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  11. Additionally, the spacers were probably unnecessary - I did it to ensure my drive line was at a good angle. I welded perches on a Chrysler 8.25 and probably fudged up the angle a bit. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  12. I just finished this. I used the same cross member and used one inch spacers between the frame and cross member. If you already have the tranny, bell housing and master/slave combo, you just need to find out what year ax15 you have. Earlier AX15 had a .59“ input shaft and the later models had a .75“ shaft. If you have the earlier model, nothing needs to be changed. Later model will require you to purchase a different pilot bearing - P/N - PB77HD Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

  14. I'm assuming that even with something in the cruise control system being removed, both cables, and the servo, still need to be present?
  15. Several questions - Ill see if I can make this understandable. I was not able to find any of this thru searching. First off, I'm not interested in fixing it. I just want to know how to access the upper cable and what cables to get in the future. Previous owner gutted the factory cruise control. Cruise control servo and cruise control stalk are still intact. It does not, however, work. I don't know what was removed as I know nothing about the cruise control system. Questions are as follows - 1) Theoretically, if I needed to replace the speedometer cable, could I just get a non cruise control one and run that to the gauge cluster? 2) Does the cruise control servo still need to be on the truck? IE - does a cable run through it? 3) Where is the mystical upper cable located? I read about it in every cruise control article/thread but I cannot find it.
  16. That looks like a cruise control servo.. But mine isn't in that area. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk
  17. Have you driven the vehicle or just wrenched on it so far? Looks like the throttle cable. Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using Tapatalk

  20. replace the switch with a temperature sender
  21. You need a 4wd transmission in order to fit a transfer case to it. A 2wd transmission does not have the provision for a transfer case.
  22. I believe the pumpkin is a passenger side drop, meaning it will not line up with your transfer case.
  23. I'm assuming this is for a renix? If I remember correctly, the 87-90 clusters were the same for XJ/MJ and Wagoneer. So, they were for 4, 6 and 8 cylinder. Point being, all the way one way is 4 cyl, all the way the other is 8 cyl. For the 4.0, it should be in the middle position. Again, this is if I remember correctly.
  24. Let me know when you're ready and how you want the money.
