Bump on this ancient thread. I have the OP's truck now. Drain plug still missing. Anyone have one?
  13. Like I said..totally not necessary.. Stupid me.
  14. I'm sure someone else will chime in.. But I can't imagine that the plungers would be on the receiver drier and them not be necessary for its operation. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  15. Go to Facebook and look up nickintimefilms.. Outside of that, you'll be spending a LOT of money Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  16. Yes, the only modification required is rewelding perches.
  17. He's saying to set the #1 cylinder to top dead center on the compression stroke. And, index your distributor. Your distributor timing is out of whack.
  18. The orange wire that is under the battery cables is what is I was referring to. It is in the same loom as the low pressure switch (green wires) coming off of the receiver drier.
  19. For the 12v positive on the compressor..it will connect to a single lead orange wire that is on the passenger side of the engine bay. The negative cable grounds to the back of compressor. Ill post a picture of the wire tonight.
  20. There isn't any of the hose in the dash. It's all in the engine bay. Following the hose from the reservoir and see if you can find the issue. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  21. If its an internal slave and you're just replacing the slave, a shop will probably charge $800 or so, after parts and labor. The actual part, itself, is like $60 or something.

Ive got some, Ill send pictures. PM or email?
  23. The evaporator is on the passenger side of the dash. Where is yours cracked? Its a fairly tedious process to get to the heater core and evaporator.
  24. Assuming you have the ac delete bracket in place now, you would remove that and install a compressor. You would also need to install a condenser and receiver drier. Next, you would decide if you want to install the (way it would have been from the factory) evaporator in your dash... OR get an underdash evaporator. If you get an in dash unit, you'll need an expansion valve. If you do underdash, most come with it already. Your evaporator choice will also determine if you need to purchase new HVAC controls or not. From there, run the lines. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
