  4. only my buddy did. he said it worked great. he got everything cheap though. he said it towed well and they slept in the box with space heaters to keep warm.
  5. gonna be filling the gap between the tube and fender with sheetmetal eventually. they do flex right now. price for the uhaul setup was cheap since he has the hook up.
  6. my folks shop, which is wear i work/store my jeep
  7. your mechanic seems like a hack..... if what he says is true, why wouldn't you or him get a new carrier? i would call the vendor and get one overnighted for free.
  8. was just in training for a week at a place that specializes in 3D printing. they printed everything from NFL size footballs, to operational adjustable wrenches (which i got to take one home) to a model airplane. everything was made of plastic. the uses seemed endless.
  9. no. perches are on top the axle, and even if you are going SOA, they arent wide enough. what axle is it?
  10. all comanches are badass

  14. nice choice! one of my favorite rigs on the site.
  15. so should it technically be mine since he must have used my truck for reference? lol
  16. the frame side bracket and frame side joint is from rubicon express. the axle end uses a poly bushing and custom mount that ties into the upper control arm mount and coil spring pad.. i made the tracbar.
  17. i run the JCR over the knuckle setup with 6.5" coils. i remounted the tracbar above the axle. here is a pic for reference.
  18. i think that looks like total crap............ :D
  19. got the jeep finally ready for NAXJA Winterfest that is this coming weekend. bent up some 1-1/4" DOM for a tube fender type look. i will eventually fill the gap between the tube and fender with some sheetmetal but just ran out of time. i also cut out the rockers and welded in 2"x6"x3/16" tube. i wrapped it around the front fender instead of welding it to it.
  20. if you haaaaaave to have one, just get the cheapest one. they are just a bandaid. i havent ran one for 4 years.
