It all depends what trans youve got in the MJ, if its an AX-15 youre golden, just swap t cases, itll be pretty simple/easy, if you don't then its a good time to swap in an AX

The Murray ultrastat sold at most auto parts stores has the hole and the "jiggle" valve in it, personally i run an oem thermostat... but i would advise only running a 195 degree tstat
Not backpressure, exhaust scavenging.. This affects all vehicles, it is commonly believed that backpressure halps exhaust scavenging, and its true, to an extent, but thats what gives the power gains
