Another useless piece of info, I heard somewhere that they estimated one billion people would watch the apology, I guess people thought it was important... wow
Psh, I hate being eighteen, my MJ's insurance costs $100 per month, with another $70 per month for the mustang, and that's state minumum....
Sorry :hijack:
 Keep the MJ as a lawn ornament until you need to tag it.
:agree: six is better than five, and the 3.5 isnt really worth the effort, id just buy a 3.4 or 4.0 with the $$$ from selling the 3.5 and don't look back
The 4200 would be a tight fit, its a tall engine, IIRC the axle runs through the oil pan like in exploders, probably have to BFH the firewall like in a 4.0 swap too
Dunno, but I thought its big brother the 4200 I6 would be a cool swap, they make some crazy power with them, IMHO, GM should use them as the V6 replacement instead of the phase out
if youre going to have them rebent, consider taking them to a shop thay does it correctly, by using a heat treatment and shot peening, otherwise the new arch will settle to where it was before.
Just my 2 cents, but from my experience in the parts buisiness, parts for Hyundais and Kias are typically more expensive and more difficult to obtain then Jap, Euro, and domestic makes
Had the same issue with my 5.2 dakota, went through a ton of work replacing parts, until in a last ditch effort i replaced the coil... fired right up... replace that first
And pulled a D44 out of an XJ
Out of what must have been looking under hundreds of XJs (including some in parking lots) for one of these, I finally saw and took one for myself, for the rightous price of $150.
I feel pretty accomplished since it was both freezing and snowing while I was lying on the ground at the JY, and all the tools I needed were the ones I left at home.
Its got an open diff and 3.55 gearing
I was just wanting to know if there were any particular brand/type of spring perch that is typically used, and what the spacing is between the perches.
Ill have pics soon
My Mj has a flowmaster 40 with no cat and sounds great, my bro has a super 44 on his 4.7 stroker TJ and it sounds pretty close, just louder. Has anyone tried a hooker aerochamber on a jeep?
