  1. Ok now thats completely different, i would drain out the tank and flush out the system IMMEDIATELY, E85 is highly corrosive, and will cause permanent damage to fuel system components
  2. Most octane booster is a scam, when they say increases octane 7 points it means from 87 to 87.7, apparently NOS increases by 40 points, but I have no experience, id get a gallon of race fuel
  3. Well I got ahold of the supplier today, as it turns out theyre out of stock on factory bumpers, and use the same pricing on the FEY bumpers, sorry I kinda jumped the gun there
  4. What engine do you have?
  5. Also I may be able to get factory bumper brackets for $40, not sure if thats each or both, ill check tomorrow... Sorry about three posts, I'm posting from my phone
  6. Also these are brand new, ill have to double check tomorrow to see if I can get them, I'm thinking about one for my MJ and was just gonna let you guys know
  7. So I found through a source at work that I may be able to obtain some factory type MJ rear bumpers for $250 for black and $350 for chrome, I don't know if anyone is looking for them?
  8. Sounds like a fuel filter/pump, not sure why itd smell rich though. Id pull the plugs and take a look at them
  9. :clapping:
  10. To compete with other pickups at the time, prior to the MJ, all jeep pickups were 4x4, but 4wd adds cost to the bottom line, and reduces efficiency and payload, most compact pickups were and are 2wd
  11. GM 5.3L aluminum truck motor, a coworker of mine has a turbo'd one in his RX-7 that runs 9s
  12. Yeah I understand, but if it tests bad then its definitely bad, so you know it needs to be replaced. It will just narrow your diagnosing a little bit further
  13. I have about 3500 songs on my mp3 of mixed variety, but lately I have grown a taste for country, mostly the newer loud stuff like Randy Houser and Justin Moore
  14. The test may or may not show an intermittant problem, however its worth a shot, if it tests bad then youve saved youself cash and a headache, if it tests good, it is possible it is still bad
  15. Not sure about all the accessories and such, but if I were to do it, I'd consider swapping in the whole MPI system, which would be a lot of work, but a reasonable gain in both MPGs and power
  16. Do you have the 2.8 or the 2.5? If youve got a 6, then your easiest route is a 3.4 out of a camaro, you can reuse the trans and all the accessories
  17. I don't know about that specific module, but at oreillys we can test ignition modules, so you might check that out before shotgunning it
  18. I hear POR makes a product, anyone have any experience with their DIY bedliner?
  19. :agree:
  20. Personally I'd do bearings, but no matter what I would do the oil pump, get a melling HV
  21. That reminds me of a truck I almost bought, a 77 J20 with 25000 original miles, 401/TH400/Quadratrac, it was an Ex Arkansas Fire truck, still had the stripes, was $1700 but I didny have the $$$
  22. Havent used mine since freshman year...
  23. Hmm, on a side note... I never even realized that was ever an issue, I go to a high school with about 2000 other students, and it's rare to ever see one open.
  24. You might consider getting the ECU from a jeep with a stick, itll idle at lower revs, and you don't necessarily need a t case from behind an AX15, any later t cases from a 23 spline outupt AW4 work
