The same could be said about a carburetor, youre only pushing about 6 psi then, itd be the same principal with MPFI, youd still have all that boost pushing "against" the injectors
Sorry I dunno if the original question was answered but... The reason (Ive been told) that the rear tires sit in is to give better highway roadholding while hauling... Makes the truck track straight
I can't see any reason why you couldnt turbo a TBI motor, remember there were factory cars that had turbos with carbs, although I can't remeber a factory turbo TBI, If i were to do it Id swap on MPFI
The 2.5 Daytona is a completely different motor from the jeep 2.5, its an OHC motor (Mitsubishi IIRC), whereas the Jeep 2.5 is essentially a 4.0 minus 2 cyl...
Erm no..... It was a titan, he bought it before there was much knowledge on the forums of Titan... Not really sure how they compare to Clifford, though Titan now does have a pretty poor reputation
So we were pulling apart the 4.7L stroker from my brothers TJ and found this in one of the cylinders, a chunk is missing from one of the pistons and there are no marks on the wall from it :???:
Besides random detonation in just one cylinder I can't imagine how this could happen
