  1. I would make sure to make the stops the correct length if you're truck is ever going to go offroad, even with full length stops my truck can just about spit out a 6.5" lift coil at full flex.
  2. I would probably go with an injected 5.3l Chevy. They are easy to find and inexpensive, they are also easy to transplant even keeping the fuel injection.
  3. I built corner armor which gave me a blank slate to put in whatever lights I wanted.
  4. This was on the ultimate car build off a few years ago.
  5. That would be pretty sweet all fixed up.
  6. I could see someone giving you $20k for it,especially if you gave it a new coat of paint. I think it helps that I have seen it up close in person. But as you said it would take the right guy with the right pocket book, people with money to play with look at things a little different.
  7. He says the mounts were cut off ,not the stops themselves.
  8. You could make some from tube or just go the junkyard and cut some off an XJ.
  9. You could swap in a tilt column from an XJ.
  10. The one you have would work but its a good idea to replace it while your in there.
  11. I wouldnt turn down a good deal on any year of ax4/ax5. External slave is somewhat convienient but not worth turning down a good transmission over, as long as you put in a new slave cyl when you install the transmission you shouldnt have any issues for a very long time.
  12. This sounds like fun but not gonna be able to go this time.
  13. No it won't bolt up without adapting it to your engine. If you want a bolt in find a 4x4 ax4 or ax5
  14. I have some used 3.55s to get you by. I could make you a deal on install.
  15. I took out 16" which put me just after the X so it was still structurally sound. The rear bumper is part of the suspension so it is tied into the rear unit frame as well. The sliders are c channel that I basically just welded over the existing rockers.they are tied in at the pinch seam and the body, at the bed I plated the unit frame and they are attached by c channel stand offs and the bed is notched around them so it can be removed still. I battle tested them at Elbes rock gardens and they performed great. here's a pic with one kinda mocked up, I finished them in a hurry to get ready for a run so I didnt get many pics.
  16. IMO I wouldnt bother with a LP30. You should sell or part out the ZJ take the money and get a later HP30 and whatever else you need for your swap.
  17. Got the winch in, still need to work on the front bumper but atleast I can use the winch if I need it.
  18. That seems like a good deal if its all in good shape, what are they out of? I'm gonna guess that you have never priced lockers.
  19. Here is a pic of my 2.5l MJ with a 4.0l radiator,it looks lik the dampner would clear just fine. The issue is the 2.5l radiator.
  20. The wife showng off her handy work.
  21. I don't see how the VIN really matters,if its in decent shape its worth $500 reguardless what year it is or which engine is in it.
  22. Your probably one notch off on the timing belt.
  23. USA standard is what I put in my MJ,They set up like any other quality gear.
