just about to come up to the 3000 mile mark, oil change this weekend. going to find/fix my power steering leak also. got my AX15 off my porch and cleaned up and put away in the barn for whenever I can find a damn transfercase. haven't had any problems outside of the fuel pump kicking the bucket. I enjoy driving it around. :cheers:

never stopped me either, just make sure you with someone to pull you out. my mj is fun, have had too much experience with much else, but i plan on 4x4 and making it so the doors can be taken off and possibly a sunroof, fun 'nuff for summer for sure. good luck :banana:

I'm looking to step up the MJs audio in the very near future, the 6 1/2s in the doors are getting boing. looking for some 6x9s in the rear corners and some kind of slim series subwoofer. I have a little experience wiring up speakers and did a sub once, but I'm pretty lost on what to get and all that. 130+ dB is a bit much though.

x2, I spent about 2 years on those forums before I found my way to comanches. I still woundnt turn down an eagle wagon, or def an SX/4 or Kammback. theres more parts what would be swapped into an Eagle than from one. theres a few builds on those forums that have nice 4.0L engines and jeep driveline in them. they even like the 3:07s D30/D35... its and upgrade :nuts: theres even a few folks on there who have comanches also. I am "landlubber" on those forums also. :cheers:

mine was a holy oil pan, and shotty seal. always good to check anyways. flat paint is good t hiding stuff.

oldish topic, but thought i'd say bring up the fact that there is about another 100 some odd pages now.

here's what I got: this was about 2 weeks after I got it. hadn't addressed little things yet (like tailgate handle) fixed now though. this is also when I realized the axle was about 1.5" off to the left side. had to snap all the u-bolts and re-position it.

x2. folks have a 93 dakota. I thought they were universal for MJs when I first got mine (PO told me so) but one quick check proved that wrong.
