  1. It does have the cup holder on the side. Not the one above the ebrake handle
  2. I will have a factory wire harness from a 95 xj. I would have tcu but sold the trans and tcu already. I am taking the motor out this week. Let me know if your interested.
  3. can't beat $20 for all that. I have factory center console from a 1995 xj. I had one in my mj. Its grey. Pm me if you are interested.
  4. Thanks for the info guys. I did a little research and found this site. It seems to be my go to site very nicely laid out with part numbers and etc. http://www.ajeepthing.com/stroker-motor.html
  5. Just acquired a 90 xj with 4.0 aw4 np242 nondisco front axle 3" lift 31-10.50 baja claws. I was wondering what it takes to build a reliable stroker motor? I am thinking about doing this.
  6. you know i never tried that. It has been sittin up on ramps the whole time i been tryin to work shifter. I will def give that a try. right now it sucks that its been raining for four days straight.
  7. IMHO i'd just find some 2 door xj seats put your brackets on and get a full center console ;)
  8. Unfortunately the weather has been crappy here and my jeep is outside so hopefully i can get to it some time this week
  9. Thanks eagle. I could have been in a real world of hurt! So is there a secret way to bleed the slave or is it like the brake system?
  10. well got it off a buddy who said he pulled it from a good xj i took his word and now I'm paying for it. I got it and tcase for $175 so i was thinking if it needed work i still have less than $500 in whole thing. I've bled about a whole bottle of fluid thru it. Pedal feels good. I got a exedy clutch, pressure plate, and pilot bearing as a kit for the 89-90 model ax15. What differences would there be if the ax15 was a 91 model. Could my flywheel need turned?
  11. Unfortunately i think i need to take it apart too. :wall: How could i tell if its a 89,90, or 91 model ax15? The pilot bushing was for a 89-90 model but if its a 91 i would need a diff bushing. Would that have any issue with it? I just don't know why it won't go into 1st or 2nd gear :dunno:
  12. Put a ax15 in where my ba/10 was. Put new clutch, pressure plate, slave cylinder, and pilot bearing in too. Tranny will shift into third fourth fifth and reverse with truck off but with truck running and in neutral it will not go into gear and grinds if i try and put it in reverse. If i put in third gear with truck off then start it i can hear something that sounds like the clutch and flywheel rubbing. Any ideas
  13. good question :dunno: it was like that when i bought it
  14. Thanks! Looks like i will try and splice cause i don't have any good boneyards around that would have a reverse light switch and i don't have the keesh for a new one. Couple more for ya: 1. If i drain it, what is recommended i put back in? 2. How in the heck do i put the shifter back on? I mean the little cup with the notch that twists into place, how do i turn it
  15. So i dropped my ba10 last nite and am gonna put the the ax15 in today (hopefully). Old trans is '88 ba10 and the ax15 is a 89-91 but i think its a 89 or 90 cause the pilot bushing is the same. My question is what sensors need to be swapped or changed or what can i reuse? There is a sensor and a wire hanging on the pass side of ax15 but not one on the ba10. Is that for my reverse lights. And on the drivers side of the ba10 there is a sensor with 2 little prongs. And finally the CPS looks to be the same. Can i just put my old in the ax15? Please help :dunno:
