  1. I'm in need of a short box! Las Vegas is only a 1750 mile drive! I know there is a such thing as a rust free box closer tho... And doors, OE fenders... The only body parts that we can get up here are fricken hoods!
  2. I am happy to report changing out the relay worked! I had no issue coming to work tonight. This jeep is my new DD so we shall see if it holds up. I plan to change the IAC anyway.
  3. Most likely its a vaccum issue. I would replace all the vacuum lines. You can get both 'harnesses' from rock auto for less then 25 bucks.
  4. clean or replace? Going to go give this a go now.
  5. Yes I'm looking for brake parts. Most folks parting vehicles will not just sell the parts I need. They want to sell me the whole rear end. I will not pay 500 for a 8.25.... Took a few pics today of the 91 next to the 88 in the garage too see the difference the 3" lift made....Pretty surprising...
  6. Seems in my expirence 4.56s will put it back to 'stock' performance.
  7. 36 Air switch solenoid circuit. Air switch solenoid circuit (non-turbo) or the waste gate solenoid on turbocharged models This is what I got. What do I change? (copy/paste from the thread)
  8. I think we only have 3 confirmed as of now including myself. Hopefully we can get a couple more....
  9. I know there is a thread on cherokee forum about this also. But that sight is :dunce: nowadays.
  10. Agreed. I have installed these on 3 different jeeps. Defiantly worth the money!
  11. I cannot get ubolts locally without waiting.....I have got lucky in the past and have bought them from the autoparts store for 22-25 apiece. Its nice to have a turn key setup. Ruff Stuff is high quality parts. Discount is nice too...search for discount codes.. I have not tried to hook the DS up yet....if its too short, ill just have the stock shaft shortened but that entails driving 70 miles one way so I hope it just works. After the small suspension lift I have my fingers crossed.
  12. Also some Grand axles had CV joints instead of u-joints. I even had a Limited 86 V6 XJ with CV joints instead of standard u-joints.
  13. I used a simple swap from Ruff Stuff. U-bolts are around 25 bucks apiece, perches another 20-30, and shock mounts anywhere from 20-50. Good buy IMO. http://www.ruffstuffspecialties.com/cat ... small.html
  14. Very nice and cool as always Sam!
  15. Yep that is a purpose built MJ. It looks to be built pretty good. Would be a good mud truck if they would $#!& can those junk tires..... I might rock it on some 54 boggers but I'm not a big fan of mud....
  16. Took a day of vacation to get caught up with somethings around the house. Wanted to mow grass but the freak out of nowhere thunderstorm shut that down. So perfect time to throw the MJ back together quick to get it on its own wheels. I painted the 8.25, and also my Hell Creek springs due to some slight surface rust. Bro in law stopped over this morning to help me set the box back on the truck to see how its going to look. I think it looks great. :chillin: Next on the list is getting it running again with a new water pump, raditor, (open cooling). Then the bodywork and paint. Something I have NEVER done before.... :( I do plan, just for heck of it, to get a estimate on a pro paint job. But I really want to learn how to do it myself...
  17. I have 2 mini dachshunds. One is about 8 or 9 months, one is 6-7 weeks. One female, one male, half brother and sister actually. Same mom. Bella and Freddie! I lost my dog that I had for 15 years on March 13 of this year. :(
  18. That's the info I was looking for! Thanks Don.
  19. Awesome! Why do those wheels just SCREAM Jeep?
  20. Someday I need to do this. KIA keeps coming to mind... I just hate driving cars
