I think it's time to give my faithful Comanche some much deserved love. First on the to-do list is the body. Has anyone used a cab corner replacement that wasn't a NOS piece of sheet metal or cut off a donor Comanche? I was thinking maybe other trucks from the era might have similarly shaped cab corners that could be cut off. I was also considering patching it to be square or one flat angled piece of sheet metal. It wouldn't look stock, but probably pretty neat.

My Comanche doesn't appear to have a trailer light plug, though it has a hitch. Before I go tearing into the wiring to pull out signals and brake lights I thought I would check if there's an existing connector in the harness for them that I can jump into instead. Anyone encounter this?

Hey everyone, I'm from New England, bought my 88 Comanche (4.0x5spdx4x4) a few months ago. It's a 90,xxx mile truck and I'm planning on daily driving it for years to come. Not lifting or anything like that, just a hard working truck to haul around motorcycles. I still have to swap out my Peugeuot tranny, fix a bunch of rust, and some other miscellaneous projects so I'm sure I'll have many more questions for you guys. I found this pic online, and I love that grill. I'm a retro kind of a guy so round headlights and step sides appeal to me. I couldn't find any more info on this truck, has anyone done a grill swap like that? I assume the grill needs to be shortened, that all seems pretty straightforward. However, hood modification? I was in Centralia, PA last fall for a bit of exploring, it's a pretty cool place. Make sure you head south on 61 to find a few more abandoned old buildings out there, they're visible from the road.
