Yes. I would most defiantly do some frame stiffening. It can't hurt, even if it's not 100% needed.

Don't know about that.... I change oil on all my jeeps. Her Libby and my Cummins go in for oil changes. Valvoline synthetic for both. Libby is 40 bucks, truck is just over 100. Why? Cuz these newer vehicles are a PITA. (don't know about the Libby...never cared cuz it's not a real jeep and not mine...) It's fun watching them trying to replace my oil filter on the truck. Dodge hid it behind the egr cooler. I always bring my own WIX or Mopar filters and watch the guys like a hawk.

Probably just as common as the bench seats in XJs. That would be the reason for column shift. I have never seen one personally...just pictures.

For what the OP wants to do.... I don't think its necessary. Pulling 3kish 7 times a year, and not going over 45MPH, I would hardly worry. People like to over-think things....

My lift is IRO parts for the front. Hell Creek Leafs. 265/75/16 Hankook Dynapros ATMs. Everything is wrapped up under the hood. Working on paint and body now.

You should be able to use the 4" superlift suspension also.

Get some paint on them ASAP.
