  1. First the seal was bad. I ripped it with my fingers pulling it out. The passenger side bottom corner came loose pretty easy. I was working up the side and the window shattered. I have a tendency to get a little excited and learn from the school of hard knocks...sorry no pics. Didn't even think of it.
  2. Me neither. I've always wondered why....
  3. Welcome to the club. Where's the pics of your new ride?
  4. I think its sick that a 01 TJ is 10k. What a high price on a 01 XJ? 6k? Almost half the price and a more practical vehicle.....
  5. That first link you posted  :chillin:
  6. Yeah I know.... doesnt everyone. But tell you the truth, I have a complete black interior that I plan to put into my 88 Wyomanche project, and the only thing that is broke from the interior I plan to swap is the mini console. If I cannot find a mini console, its not worth swapping interiors cuz ill be one part short. Black and tan DO NOT go together!! Help!
  7. Why don't you ask Pete? :rotf:
  8. This is why I'm spooked about rusty MJs now.. http://comancheclub.com/topic/33762-biggest-let-down-in-my-comanche-careerdetails-inside/
  9. Id be all over that! Who cares if its only 2wd. A good Comanche friend of mine told me one time, "These trucks are like legos, you can make what you want out of any truck." (something like that(BEN) ))))) Jim: I have actually used a ratchet strap to hold the hangers in. The truck in my avatar pic. Took it out wheeling and ripped BOTH hangers clean off. That was before fancy phones and before I discovered ComancheClub...
  10. Well after about 2-3k miles and learning how rusty this poor truck really was.... I stripped it. Just about down to the last wire. H.O. Engine H.O. engine bay wiring and dash wiring H.O. sending unit Dana 44 2" receiver Trail rig fenders Hood Lots of misc. All hardware bagged and labeled, along with both harnesses, labeled. Even the vaccum system is labeled. Its last ride. I think I got my monies worth.. This is what happen last night when I was working in the dark to get the axle/leafs out. I simply used my floor jack underneith the rearmost cab support and check out what happened! Ish! The weight of the axle ripped this right the heck off. Off to the crusher :( Bittersweet day.
  11. Well i broke it. Got a little too hog wild I guess. More patience next time... :(
  12. I hope I have the patience. thanks.
  13. Look at the rot near the leaf spring hanger. Id run for the hills or pay about 1000 dollars MAX.
  14. How the heck to I remove a very nice rear slider w/o damaging it? 91 Elm, hate to see good parts go to waste.
  15. Congratulations, you deserve a cookie.

  20. :yeah that:
  21. To my knowledge the leafs are unique to the MJ. You can mix and match individual leafs off the main leaf however. Using S10 parts is common or Dakota stuff.
  22. Cool. I'll be waiting on the info!
  23. That is different! Unique looking.
  24. This sucks! Best of luck Tom.
  25. You from Colorado? Didn't they just legalize dope? Chill out brother.
