  1. More pics of bed cover!
  2. Doesn't look bad at all! I'd buy it if the price was right. Transmissions are dirt cheap. Good reason to do a 4wd swap.
  3. http://www.quadratec.com/products/918612_05.htm Not dirt cheap but you'll never touch it again.
  4. 231 are simple to rebuild. Pull it apart and fix it. Nothing is going to jump out at you.
  5. Me too. I had to take a vacation day No highlights that I know of... I'll have a few pieces of Chet there.
  6. 5 hours isn't that bad of a drive!
  7. Questions? Pm me or for more info. It Sunday of Rock Rash weekend. Hoping for a good turnout. We would sure like to make this an annual event. It's absolutely free. Bring those goods you don't want to store for the winter! Or find some new treasure to bring home!
  8. Yes I agree. But if you are forced to drive your rig to the trail and you want low pressures.... I have wheeled for years on standard 15x8 steel wheels with 10 lbs of air in a radial tire and I have never popped a tire off the wheel, wheeling. I did peal a tire getting towed out of trail one time tho. No Beadlocks on the street for me.
  9. A running driving 4 wheel drive is worth $500 all day long everywhere IMO.
  10. Did you end up finding banjo bolts? I was told they where discontinued and not available anymore by the stealer and quadratec.
  11. Use balance beads. I see on the Ultimate Adventure they had issues with that Cummins truck breaking Beadlocks bolts, on the street.... Yes it's not legal but I personally have never heard anyone get pinched for it. Could always just say they are fake unless you get a educated officer.... Play dumb.
  12. Crap
  13. Ummm. His MJ of course.
  14. :worthless: For whatever reason I can't get the emoticons to work on my iPad. "This thread is worthless w/o pics."
  15. My on,y complaint was the paint job.
  16. And they are a dime a dozen. Usually cheaper then TJ Moab wheels....
  17. Midwest/Great Lakes beer only. I have only seen it in MN, WI, ND, and UP. It does the job. I got the ARB fixed in the rear axle today, and the gears set up again by a more experienced Jeeper. That was the big hold up in the project. Now to find time to work on the thing! Have a wheeling event this weekend. Hopefully next week I can get a day to work!
  18. I'll have to take better pics. It's not that nice. Needs rockers, cab corners and bed wheel wells bad. I was quoted 2k to get it fixed from a local body guy for cash. Ben, I took Hwy 2 west.
  19. Sweet! That was my original plan for my project jeep but I'll wait till the bedsides are smashed now.
  20. Headed to western North Dakota for my new trailer! Cool storm on the horizon about 30 miles east of Devil's Lake! Home after 890 miles in a day. Average for the trip at 72 mph was around 17mpg. Trailer has new brakes, bearings, and brand new E rated tires. I plan to build some real fenders for it to replace the rusted out ones with some tube and some 16 gauge. The jeep fits. Today all the side boards are off. Jeep didn't fit through the boards with 5psi in the tires very nice.. BUT.... It looks like the trans is about to $#!& the bed in the truck... Torque converter is shuttering like crazy... I wasn't really ready but this kind of stuff doesn't ever come at a good time. New triple disk converter, new 48re valve body, new clutches, deep pan and I'll probably spring for a billet input shaft too. Coming sooner then later.
  21. Empty Post
  22. I thought Hell Creek was back?
  23. Never thought I'd see the day. Somebody putting a frame under a MJ and HIGH QUALITY job!
