  1. It's a disease that might go dormant for awhile, but it always comes back!
  2. I can honestly say I have bought and installed 5 of these double shear kits and never have had a problem. 88MJ-2001XJ.
  3. I just ordered one for my 'new' axle knowing the jeep will be used offroad.
  4. Smashed it on a rock. When I modded the stock one, there was not very much material left.
  5. Iron rock also sells u-bolt yolks now. Modding a stocker works but I have done it in the past and it failed.
  6. Find me a nice stock YJ and it's yours. :brows: A friggen why-J? Why? Lol
  7. Looks like I'm gonna have to shopping for something to trade you soon... Your getting done too fast... Ha Looks good. I'm jealous.
  8. I do. No pics till next week. :(
  9. There's no bumper on the front. It was bartered away. Last I seen it was on CL for $200. This truck will be on its third or fourth front bumper and now it's 4th rear axle since I started...
  10. Wow I left it up in the air didn't I?! Well.. At the swap I picked up a AX15 out of a 97 TJ to install. Got a couple transfer cases also and that's about it. In the last week I have dropped a bunch of cash to get this project off the ground again. Bought a set, D30 and C8.25, with 4.56 gears and ARB air lockers. The 30 has big boy shafts, and Iron Rock Sleeves also. The 8.25 needs new air seals for the ARB, disc brakes, (have parts) and new axle seals. ARB bull bar with new m8000. Rear shocks (not 5100 due to back order) Exhaust Brake lines New adjustable upper and lower HD control arms Also talked to a friend of mine today and we mutually agreed I need a cage in this jeep. So that will coming up too! It will be locked f&r on 17" JK Rubicons, clean cut flares, ARB with with new winch, cage tied into unibody all on 32" mud terrains. Planning EJS next spring. But DD status soon hopefully!! If I get time I'll post some pics. That's what everyone wants to see anyway! The doors are back on the truck and painted. That was a few months ago... Arrrg. Life has gotten in the way something fierce on this project and other jeeps have came and went......it's time to get the MJ DONEish!! I have another jeep truck I wanna get cracking on!
  11. 1. Have had nine total MJs One XJ in my yard now is #31.
  12. Sadly there isn't but a few real country artists still making music. Hick Hop is all they play outa Nashville now. It's too bad. A new radio company came into my area and axed the one and only classic country station too about 2 years ago.. Sux
  13. I have also done it that way, even as far and hooking up the driveshaft. Keeping everything loose, tacking and then pulling it all back apart to weld. Fool proof way to do it.
  14. Definately a ranger tailgate and back window
  15. That's a pretty good budget for a MN truck!
  16. More Scrambler pics: http://www.cj-8.com/forum/showthread.php?42556-Austin-s-Barn-Fresh-CJ8&p=321321#post321321
  17. I'll get some more pics.
  18. You know that just means you can drag home more stuff easier, right? Also... when can I own your new CJ? :D Well, it hasn't been at my house for 24 hours yet and I've had 3 people ask about selling already. Not to be rude but NEVAR!! Haha!!
  19. More towing. Getting my own car trailer again soon! Another pic of what's on the trailer and my buddy's scrambler.
  20. Guy in my jeep club has a 2000 TJ with less then 100k miles with a broken rusted frame.... Not good.

    "jeepers"

Lifting a car... That's only cool when it's a AMC Eagle or 80s Sub.
  22. I'm getting married this summer. No hyphenated names. That's extremely stupid in my book. She thinks so too.

    Beer And Paint

My jeep was planned out as a 10 footer paint wise, now it's a 50 footer cuz of beer.
  24. Compare a Rubicon model to a Sport. That Rubi is a fancy machine inside and out. You cannot get stripped down Rubi or a Laredo WK2 with a diesel or Hemi... Fancy is in. The enthusiast market is tiny compared the whole market. That's why myself and I'm sure others have laughed at sales people showing off how cool some new 'feature' or what have you in a new Jeep or any vehicle. These talked about above are a little over top. But it's been said, it's a image thing. What about the Dragon Editon JK? Local dealer was trying to sell me one of those POSes when I was in the market. There was a few of those up here at the dealers. Never seen one on the road...
