  1. Fram . What do I win ?
  2. http://m.ebay.com/itm/1985-1992-Jeep-Comanche-Truck-MJ-Headliner-Panel-Custom-Made-in-the-USA-/172488267243?nav=WATCHING_ACTIVE
  3. If you were to put the passenger seat on the drivers side bracket you'll be good to go , except the controls will be on the console side as Minuit said ( and I'm sure you're aware of too )
  4. Vomit away , I like pics . Sometimes you get lucky when stripping paint and it will come off a layer at a time ,yours ? I don't know .Some of the " graffiti remover" stripper does a good job removing spray paint and not automotive paint , but there is no guarantee what's going to happen .oven cleaner is an option too , Good luck
  5. Dzimm, what brackets do your seat have then?
  6. Are they still power seats ? I switched mine to manual and without them being in the vehicle , I'd say they are ok .
  7. Picked up a pair of leather seats out of a 4dr 90 xj limited . The drivers side has a small cigarette burn and the rest of the seats are in good shape for being 27 years old The seats are power , but would be too tall and I would hit my head . In addition they would not tilt forward , so I decided to use a spare pair of 86 Mj specific bucket seats with the bolsters for donors . I swapped the 90 cover on the 86 frame of the drivers side seat , still have the passenger side to do ...
  8. When I worked at the body shop occasionally we would get vehicles that would not start like how you mentioned . With a lot of newer vehicles having plastic fuel hanger assemblies , they would snap inside the tank on impact and we'd have to replace the pump assembly . Could have blown a fuse / relay too , had many Cherokees blow airbags in an accident that still ran and there's no cutoff switch ... Not saying that's for sure , but a place to look .
  9. The 19039/19038 is all you need
  10. You got me lol , 27 . This cherokee had a rather clean body , but I have no clue where it came from. I have a brother that lives in Parker ,and I've got a couple MJs from that region . I'd buy as many as my wallet allows ... Ohio vehicles suck lol
  11. Right ( drivers side hits) , and add the 6 inches in length and it's gotta hit . Here's a post that Neohic mentioned his drivers side shock hitting the tank (6th post down ) http://comancheclub.com/topic/41774-better-then-oem-suspenion-in-rear/?fromsearch=1
  12. I remember people trying to install the load leveling coil shocks on the rear of the Lwb trucks and the coil making contact with the tank . I don't think the tank will fit without cutting a portion out to clear the axle / shock etc .
  13. Hahahah , I like this game . I'll look around and see if I can find more , I've had good luck lately finding limited Xjs and such .
  14. But it has a hole in the cover ?
  15. No , I'm just going to throw them away . I'm probably going to have to pay extra for the trash man to take them .
  16. And here they are , in pretty good shape too . One small hole in the drivers seat bottom cushion ( looks like cigarette burn ) , no tears or other noticeable defects other than normal 17 year old seats .
  17. Yep , the 2 hoses replace all 4 .
  18. Upper and lower heater hoses for 97+ cherokee , some hose clamps ( unless you like the spring clamps ) and something to plug the vacuum hose that goes to the heater valve .
  19. Thanks for the picture Don !! They sure do look nice in there . I called him back and supposed to get them later today , thanks for the help again guys
  20. I was going to have my current seats recovered which is going to be pricey and the extra mj seats I have are in great shape minus the covers off of an 86
  21. 100% sure ? It has the 97and newer center console .. I don't want to drive a couple hours away to find out they need modified lol. Don't think I'm doubting you , just that I wanna make sure ...
  22. I'm looking for seats for my 88 Comanche that I will eventually put a black interior in , are these out of a newer Xj / WJ / Zj or from the 1990 Xj limited that they are currently in ( the current owner has no clue if they're original or not) I'm fully aware of the bracket and seat year / model changes and that these seats won't flip forward , but I have actual mj bucket seats and plan to switch these covers on my seats ... Thanks for the help
  23. My boss had a knee replacement due to an old car accident he was involved in . He hobbled around until he couldn't function normally and couldn't take the pain either .Now that he had it done (52) he is much more active even though he can forecast the weather with some occasional pain . I guess it comes down to wether or not you feel it would help or hurt your quality of life , make sure you get a Spicer joint if you can...
  24. Unfortunately no , but thanks for keeping me in mind . I'm looking for the factory 97+ running boards that are on some of the limited and grizzly edition Xjs . Thanks again Gogmorgo
  25. Interesting ...here's where they are on the 17k mile 1988 pioneer that has original paint and never messed with ...
