Thanks to Gogmorgo I got this jewel . My thoughts were to either bolt this in as is ( there is no sensors etc included) or repurpose it as a indicator for all of the lights by relabeling the panel . I'm open to other suggestions as well , what would you do with it ?

Why replace? Take the old fabric and board out. Spray some 3M headliner adhesive on both (it is a contact cement), and carefully spread/smooth the fabric onto the board. Viola, like new, for the price of the adhesive (<$20). Hopes this helps. Let me know how your project progresses.Because sometimes they are broke and or missing Makes sense, but the OP never mentioned that. I am/was just trying to be helpful. My headliner drooped for many years before I took mine out and did what I suggested. I never said you weren't trying to help , I was just answering your question . I answered the OPs question of where he could get a new headliner , he never mentioned he had one either ...

Bucket Seat L /R Swap
Strokermjcomanche replied to HOrnbrod's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
If you were to put the passenger seat on the drivers side bracket you'll be good to go , except the controls will be on the console side as Minuit said ( and I'm sure you're aware of too ) -
Vomit away , I like pics . Sometimes you get lucky when stripping paint and it will come off a layer at a time ,yours ? I don't know .Some of the " graffiti remover" stripper does a good job removing spray paint and not automotive paint , but there is no guarantee what's going to happen .oven cleaner is an option too , Good luck

What are these seats from ?
Strokermjcomanche replied to Strokermjcomanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Are they still power seats ? I switched mine to manual and without them being in the vehicle , I'd say they are ok . -
Picked up a pair of leather seats out of a 4dr 90 xj limited . The drivers side has a small cigarette burn and the rest of the seats are in good shape for being 27 years old The seats are power , but would be too tall and I would hit my head . In addition they would not tilt forward , so I decided to use a spare pair of 86 Mj specific bucket seats with the bolsters for donors . I swapped the 90 cover on the 86 frame of the drivers side seat , still have the passenger side to do ...

When I worked at the body shop occasionally we would get vehicles that would not start like how you mentioned . With a lot of newer vehicles having plastic fuel hanger assemblies , they would snap inside the tank on impact and we'd have to replace the pump assembly . Could have blown a fuse / relay too , had many Cherokees blow airbags in an accident that still ran and there's no cutoff switch ... Not saying that's for sure , but a place to look .

You got me lol , 27 . This cherokee had a rather clean body , but I have no clue where it came from. I have a brother that lives in Parker ,and I've got a couple MJs from that region . I'd buy as many as my wallet allows ... Ohio vehicles suck lol -
Quick ? New 23.5 gallon fuel tank
Strokermjcomanche replied to mrmel2you's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Right ( drivers side hits) , and add the 6 inches in length and it's gotta hit . Here's a post that Neohic mentioned his drivers side shock hitting the tank (6th post down ) http://comancheclub.com/topic/41774-better-then-oem-suspenion-in-rear/?fromsearch=1 -
Quick ? New 23.5 gallon fuel tank
Strokermjcomanche replied to mrmel2you's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
I remember people trying to install the load leveling coil shocks on the rear of the Lwb trucks and the coil making contact with the tank . I don't think the tank will fit without cutting a portion out to clear the axle / shock etc . -

No , I'm just going to throw them away . I'm probably going to have to pay extra for the trash man to take them . -

Strokermjcomanche replied to Strokermjcomanche's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
And here they are , in pretty good shape too . One small hole in the drivers seat bottom cushion ( looks like cigarette burn ) , no tears or other noticeable defects other than normal 17 year old seats . -
Yep , the 2 hoses replace all 4 .

Upper and lower heater hoses for 97+ cherokee , some hose clamps ( unless you like the spring clamps ) and something to plug the vacuum hose that goes to the heater valve .
