  1. Let me see if I can find the post that covered this issue , I think Hornbrod (Don) was the OP .
  2. You referring to this ? https://www.quadratec.com/products/51309_0100.htm
  3. There is a black piece that is supposed to cover the hole , most get tossed or are brittle and break .
  4. Yes , they are going to be black . We talked about colors , but the colors may not match and right now it's too much of a hassle to have all the different colors made and sit on the shelf and hope I can sell them . He he did start making them and said I should get some sometime next week (it takes hours to make one bezel ) . I will ship in the order that I received once I get a cleared payment , I will be sending my PayPal information VIA Pm on here in the next couple days .Thanks to everyone that ordered !!! , I will stop taking orders at the end of the month , so if you'd like to order do it by then . Thanks again
  5. I have done it , kind of . I had had a leaky MC and had to switch the reservoir over because the New MC didn't come with one . But in my case I had to bleed the brakes afterwards. Your theory seems sound ,I don't think you'll lose that much fluid to introduce air in the system . After filling the reservoir I would let the brake fluid sit for awhile to allow the air bubbles to rise before pressing the brake pedal at all...
  6. Yes , if the yard will allow you to . I have a pigtail that I keep in my junkyard bag that I use so I don't have to cut theirs , or you can use some wire and spade connectors .
  7. Easier to switch just the smokers windows . Be sure to bring a drill battery so you can lower the power windows to get the vent window out . When you lower the window you'll have to pull the nut (or torx bolt ) to allow the window to go all the way to the bottom of the door to allow enough room to pull the vent window .
  8. When I did mine(95 XJ into 89 MJ ) I just used rubber hose to connect the two steel lines together , this was before dorman came out with these ... https://autoplicity.com/187759-dorman-oe-solutions-nylon-to-steel-fuel-line-compression-union?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI2vX_jLbl2AIVRlgNCh3BWAHUEAQYASABEgJUzPD_BwE , they also have steel to steel connectors you can also take the 91+ lines off at a junkyard or buy the correct dorman lines ....
  9. Why not replace the latch then ? Seems that would be a cheaper/better option
  10. I'm not sure if it's an optical illusion, but it looks like the lines come straight out . I've never seen an MJ sender that didn't have curved lines , which is why I was wondering...
  11. Are the lines curved that exit the sender ?
  12. It does matter , because I'm stating what it is . I'm not stating whether it works .
  13. That's a circuit breaker mounted to the top of the relay cover , don't have a clue what it's being used for ....
  14. It fit well , it's a brahma topper . It has stress cracks and the rear glass hinge is half on . $60 would buy it ....
  15. Thought it was going to fall at any moment , but the driveshaft did a good job holding it together lol . Found an old AMC radio too ...
  16. Dark blue , it's in good shape too .
  17. This is where I'll be for a little while
  18. Here is the best pic I could find in reference to the gasket , even though this is a power slider you'll get what it looks like .
  19. It comes with everything you need for an install , it does not use the factory gasket . If you remove your gasket properly , you can probably sell it to someone on here that needs a gasket for a factory window .
  20. Please let me know how many pairs you'd like as I will be having them made . I have finally had enough interest and need to know how many to have made . I will also be making some extras for the future . For those of you you that don't know what these are : These are made to replace the brittle / missing trim pieces that surround the tilt lever for bucket seats . They have long been discontinued by the dealer and are most always broke . The price should still be $30 shipped for the pair , but he is checking to make sure the price of materials has not changed . I will combine shipping on multiple pairs , which will lower the price to $25 for a pair (as long as they fit in the USPS flat rate box I use ). Please PM me if you are outside of the lower 48 states for a shipping quote as it may effect the final price . I will wait till around the end of the month to give him the number I'm going to have made , so let me know how many you'd like before then .
