I'm looking to buy something, and wanting to know if anybody has used a proxy buying service. I'm a little bit nervous due to the price of the item I want to purchase, which is why I'm asking if anybody has used one. Here's a link to buyee https://buyee.jp/beforeLogin/cart

All Breeds Jeep Show-Carlisle PA 2021-Possible CC Pow Wow?
Strokermjcomanche replied to 89 MJ's topic in The Pub
I might go. Not sure if I'll be working, and probably won't be sure until the week of. It's roughly a 4 hour ride for me, and if the weather is good and I'm not working I'll probably go. just wondering if it's worth compiling a list of who all is going just to see how many people are going to be there from the cc -
I'd be interested in a spare tire winch if you have any spares to sell

Project Deja vu
Strokermjcomanche replied to Strokermjcomanche's topic in Member Projects: Other Cool Stuff
Wow! I really dropped the ball on this thread. So I had 167,000 miles on it when I purchased it, now I'm at 215,000. I didn't take any pictures when I did the rest of this. I installed new leaf springs, shocks, magna flow exhaust, and it has basically been trouble free even to this day. Had a little mishap at work three weeks ago, they were spraying some safety yellow several places close to where I park and got yellow paint all over my Cherokee. I spent several days removing the yellow paint off of everything, what a feat that was. A combination of Clay-bar, buffing ,having to take my roof rack off and re-spraying it black, another set of mirrors. Now I have it all taken off , they say they will never spray yellow paint again lol. So here's the reason I'm updating the thread, so far I've got about a year of collecting parts. Need to collect parts for the fuel management and I'll be ready to install it . I carry tools with me and it has become a bit anemic and tired. -

Replacement Jeep Warning Labels
Strokermjcomanche replied to Torq_Shep's topic in Craigslist/eBay... i.e. Not Your Stuff
I have a couple labels I've done over the years . I bought some of his labels as well, While they are OK in quality, they aren't a perfect match. I've done the emissions labels for an 88 and also the fill procedure for the expansion tank. -
Normally that would be a DRB hook up . I would try your rem and see what it does. May not be 100% exact, but it'll probably still give you readings

Need opinions on this video/audio
Strokermjcomanche replied to NC Tom's topic in MJ Tech: Modification and Repairs
Check your fuel pressure. Also check all your vacuum connections, especially the map hose . make sure you do the stuff that doesn't cost any money first, then go from there. -
I'd be interested too

I seen someone use a AW4 behind a 258 before. What he did was use a TPS on the throttle cable so the AW4 knew where to shift at. I seen the car in person, but can't give you much more info than that. I can try to go back through some of my messages and try to find the guy, maybe has a post somewhere showing how he did it. His father owned a jeep dealership.

Many different styles of these to choose from. https://www.ebay.com/itm/224293771267?_trkparms=ispr%3D1&amdata=enc%3AAQAFAAAAkCXwBk7ybJOpLuXbADOkP6epqZrCZCJcNtYKu2AvSNxR054OxS0o6RuOGYaVpXRJxzNNfU0eWERKBnaY7dkGi8vjdXvCfTHs%2FJLdzJvW061MSkCR%2FEPJxce24Y3r%2B1IN2CjF11rXbu%2BwXmex%2BnPUujzH%2FBdoldzTzT%2FwB00Y7x7A8ezgb4bDn8WHrtvqxM9mQQ%3D%3D&chn=ps&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-117182-37290-0&mkcid=2&itemid=224293771267&targetid=1262931797162&device=m&mktype=pla&googleloc=9015465&poi=&campaignid=12873834685&mkgroupid=120757368679&rlsatarget=pla-1262931797162&abcId=9300536&merchantid=138165827&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIicmJsJHl8AIVIm1vBB21-wo4EAQYASABEgKm0PD_BwE i like SATA guns , I'm sure other opinions will vary . i've never been a paint suit type of guy, The cheap disposable ones should suit your needs just fine ( be prepared to sweat a lot LOL ) . Respirators are always a must, I normally buy disposable ones. I don't like the high-end ones, only because I feel they're like a CPAP machine as you can get sick from wearing them over and over and not sanitized properly. Isocyanates can go through your eyes as well, Eye protection is important as well Factor in a good air compressor, possibly a paint shaker, a gun holder, mixing cups, other essentials. -
