I'm guessing they were badly pitted , when I strip them I'll find out for sure .

Not sure if I still have any used ones , I'll have to look . The new one isn't for sale .

They painted over the red , I installed the left fender /flare

I have decided I'm not keeping it and will be putting it up for sale later today . All in all it was a straight forward project and I had fun doing it , but I don't have a reason to justify keeping it .

Done done onto the next one done one ..... #16 .... Foo fighters lol . 91 5spd , 4.0 / 2wd . Dinged all around , and is wrecked in the left front . Going to also need floors fixed , but definitely worth saving.

That about sums up this build for me , truck was sold Friday November 6th . Another CC member bought it , not sure if he's going to do a build thread or not .

I used some 3m spray adhesive and some yarn needles with clear thread /line , it's held up fairly well for 4 years

I did these , reused some of the door panel foam from a 89 wagoneer and the panel backing I bought from a local upholstery shop .

Are they original? if they aren't , my local ace hardware store has something similar to what you have pictured. Not sure if you have one close to you or not. I'm sure some sort of motorcycle specialty place would have them too.

There is a company in Texas that's still sells louvers , Comanche specific too . I'll try and find a link .

The brand I used was a BBB 7816-7 ,I got lucky and it came with the correct pulley . Go get your old alternator and swap pulleys .

So for some updates on this project .... The dash was cracked /dried up pretty bad , sourced another black dash and finally installed it along with the interior. I ended up installing my NOS black bench cover that I had too . I had had to put a different cluster in because I needed one that used the plastic clip for the cable . It's the nicest condition cluster I've seen, no corrosion on the printed board at all . While the truck isnt perfect its at a point for someone else to take it over and make it their own. The major items the truck needed have been addressed, but I never planned on keeping this truck as I currently have 3 others (each with their own purpose) . I don't want to over personalize it , but will help the buyer make it his own if I can .

The MJ floor pans they make are the best fitting ones in the aftermarket realm.

Well It's officially 4x4!! I finally found a couple driveshafts after somebody sold me the wrong ones claiming that they were for 2000.... which they weren't. I took the front axle from the Cherokee I got the driveshafts from and installed that too , along with some new shock all the way around.It's great that they use the same brakes on 2wd vs 4wd so they didn't need replaced .I took it on its maiden voyage and everything went as planned. It's nice to get one project done, or at least a big part of one. I'm not sure what's next for this, but I have other bigger projects to worry about first.
